The kids and family games are the most lacking on this console of the three. Wish PlayStation accommodated the younger children more

Games such as Disneyland adventures, Kirby, cute and cuddly cheesy toddler to 10 years old friendly fun and colourful stuff other than mine craft style games. I’ve got all three consoles and the switch is by far the most young child friendly, followed by the Xbox and lastly the PlayStation. I’m not slagging PlayStation as it’s a great system but to be the full package and family friendly and be a well rounded system I feel they need to fill out the younger end of the market too like the others do better.

Same on the previous generation too.

My personal favourite console as an adult is the PlayStation 4 pro but if I could only afford one for my family it would be the switch due to their family friendly, fun for all strategy

Just saying

Thanks, interesting insight for the future (I have a newborn)

I feel like these are the games adults want their kids to play whilst games like Fortnite and GTA are the games kids want to play. Although these aren’t confined tot the PlayStation platform I suppose

Yeah the system is super for 13-40 year olds but is way too focussed and isolated to those ages is what I’m getting at in a long winded way

I think it's probably a symptom of history; PlayStation have always enjoyed being the "edgier" teenage/adult console while Nintendo have always catered to a younger audience. The NES was a "toy" you know!
