Decent price, especially since free update 1.8 is around the corner (early December apparently). 1.8 adds an expansion to the map the West Side Piers, a PVE horde mode, a PVP 4v4 mode, new exotic weapons, adjustments to the Rogue mechanic and quite afew other fixes/balances etc.

A gear optimisation station is also being introduced which allows you to gradually increase the stats on gear pieces without farming for a better piece.

1.8 info:
1.8 intel

Then there's also the global events that happen once a month for a week for Classified gear sets. The support has been pretty exceptional for it.

Global event info:
Global Event Intel

Bullet sponge enemies of the 1.3 days are long gone with reduced time to kill with less enemy health pools and increased damage. Also with the classified gear sets stats are higher than base gear yet enemy health pools remain the same so even more power for the player.

Personally, I love this game. Been with it through the worst parts of its life span and currently, probably in its best state. Support has been excellent for it with additional content not just for season pass owners although I'd probably say may favourite part was the Survival expansion. Can be played in PVE or PVP, Solo or in groups and it's all about surviving the harsh storms, controlling your infection trying to loot and craft items to survive to get you to an extraction point and take out the Hunter who is quite a tough challenge on your first few attempt, hunters have better AI, use of skills, healing etc.

There's also a rework coming to the Underground DLC in 1.8, adding new Directives to make the mode more of a challenge but a fun challenge rather than a tough mundane grind. Hunters from Survival will spawn in your Underground phases and 'rare' rooms will also be in rotation more frequently.

Oh, and it also absolutely rains loot now.

I could go on but you get the idea

Good game. Very grindy though! Seriously took me forever to get to the end game. I was playing solo a lot though.

I was kinda impressed by the beta..until I realised the enemies were bullet sponges. It kinda negates the realism of the setting for me.

Its a pity that Argos don't give the option of Free delivery for those that aren't really fussed about same day "Fast Track" delivery. Its good value on larger items but a bit steep when it's on something like a game. Good price for C+C though. Heat added

That is true about armoured but im only level 7 so far n have a weapon that drops enemies in 2-3 headshots (130% extra damage to head) purple enemies take alot n when there is two or three they flank you in seconds

I loved this game when it was first released. Thought it had so much potential. They just messed up a few patches and bugs and itemization so my friends stopped playing . Such a shame!

Just bought Xbox one version for collection using the £5 code they sent via email yesterday so not bad for £3.49 new

Is the single player any good?

Does this code only work if you pay now and not if you want to reserve it

It not works that much on BF

Oo nvm got it. No email tho

Been patched quite a bit, think of it as diablo esque. Would give probably 20-30 hours of enjoyment to the average player so definitely worth the price. Has PS Pro patch as well

Is it still worth playing through now or has everybody stopped playing it?

The survival DLC was good, shame they did nothing with it and Battlegrounds came out and demolished it.

Solo is actually faster and easier, two people is ok but as soon as another mate joined and made it 3 it made it alot tougher, more enemies who took more damage!!

Played the demo on the xbox one, thought it was a dreadful game, one of the worst ever made for the xbox one. Slow and ponderous and not clear what you had to do, wouldn't run. Final straw was when my character got stuck in a wall. Its wasnt worth it, even free

not as bad as vanquish on the xbox 360, brilliant game destroyed by ridiculous full screen enemies that take 10 million hits to kill...ok near 100000 and i am NOT joking.....decent game totally ruined by idiots

plenty still playing the game, its gone through ups and downs which reduced the player base.. mainly the casuals, so in the Dark Zone you can still find some decent PVP. 1.8 is a free update and looks pretty decent. Does need the new content as Im maxed out on everytihing, so just roam for PVP

I wonder if they've changed it for the PC version?

Never have troubles finding people to run missions with or Last Stand games. Survival is sometimes on the quiet side but can make it abit easier as less materials would've been looted. During the last 2 global events there was queues to actually get in the game so it's still pretty popular. I'm on PS4, unsure about xbox or PC numbers. I'd have thought 1.8 will be pretty busy too due to the map expansion and additional modes that you do not need the season pass for.

Edited to add that during the first goal event there was nearly 200,000 rankings on the leaderboard for it, 197k IIRC.

@supregraz and@shinerz thanks for the replies

great game, lot of content and has been getting updates until recently (dunno if more are planned) that you can play without needing to buy the expansions. didn't even mind the grind as missions are always fun.

no advantages to buying a new copy though (no codes/etc.) and it's been as cheap as £4 in grainger games pre-owned so you'd be better served getting a cheap secondhand copy and if you like it stump up for the gold version with current expansions.

Each to their own. Not a game for me. I found it too repetitive - the only increase in challenge was chucking more enemies at you that can take more hits! I only managed to complete it as I was playing with a friend.

Same price on Amazon now.

I was playin that game to find myself a new hat..

Played on xbone on release and loved it. Bought last week on PS4 and loving it all over again. Yes sometimes it can be a bit grindy but alot of the time there's a wide variety of missions or objectives. Easily 20-30 hours single player for £6!

I saw somewhere that this might be one of the PSN games in December or January...

I've played The Division since day one and still play Survival,Undergroud,Incursions,DZ and it's still good.It will be better once 1.8 comes out and the Global Events our really fun grinding for Classified gear ( which is better than normal gear, because you can recalibrate two stats on them ) I've got Classified Final Measure,Lone Star, missing the backpack on my DEADEYE,Striker,Sentry's Call,Reclaimer...Really want the AlphaBridge,FireCrest,Tactician's...Also go most of the masks...

I played it entirely on my own and loved it.

It's about time they released it with the season pass included. I don't recall ever seeing that pass on offer so I stopped playing once I cleared the normal content.

Rumoured to be a PS+ game for December so with that in mind it may be worth reserving as it will be held until Thursday which will give you time to see the announcement later today

In a word, no.

Don't bother unless you like the grind, this game is optimisers for groups. I gave up after 20hours of solo play / pug play.
