Got it for £13.34 with 11% off code plus hopefully some tcb

The UK is pathetic. The US gets a much better, higher quality collectable steel book case for their version. The same price also. A bit dearer over here though for the US version due to import price, delivery etc. Luckily it's region free so i'll be getting the steel book version!

I'm just happy to get the main game + the DLC but yeah the UK getting shafted/over charged is nothing new

May not help all but it's (much) better on PC and you can get 2 copies for only £9.99 here, or Oblivion + Dragon Age 2 for £9.99, whichever you prefer.

actually as a general rule for games we in the UK get a good deal imo (although I cant argue with the us getting shafted on price as a whole)

new release games over here seem to come down in price much faster than in the states.

delusion, it is a little bit better on pc, but that is kind of irrelevant if you do not have one OR if you cant be bothered lugging your pc around and want to play on the "big" telly in the lounge whilst sitting on the sofa. (I have a fairly high spec pc but still find myself using my xbox more to be honest although i may have to sacrifice big TV comfort and get skyrim on my pc)

Sorry no, it is miles better on PC, no comparison in the slightest, you have 100s of free mods and addons, every texture in the game can be improved to 4x or 8x the resolution, you can change combat mechanics, shading, and increase perfornamce, fps, effects, lighting, amount/strength of mobs, weapons, dungeons, even enlarge the world. Everything is cusomisable for the better on the PC version.

Also if you wanted you could get a DVI to HDMI, or HDMI to HDMI lead if your PC supports it (you can get 20 meter cables if needed), and have your PC display on your large TV in the lounge with a high quality wireless keyboard/mouse or pad set up..

Anyway I offered the PC deal as it's relevant for people who have a PC and want a choice, it's a third of the price!

By the way Skyrim is also better on PC (and cheaper). the Mod comminuty is already very active.

For gods sake it goes without saying that graphicaly it is going to look better on a more expensive PC than a 5-6 year old console. MODS? Once people start pushing out 'amateur' mods (Lord of The RIngs, Star Wars blah blah blah) and you install it the game is no longer Oblivion or Skyrim. I for one, including lots of other people, like the Vanilla game on a CONSOLE. According to PC heads, they say, ALL games are better on the PC with a snooty 'looking down their' nose attitude at console gamers.

Great deal by the way. Even though it is better..oh sorry and cheaper (why don't you just download a shoddy cracked copy from a torrent site for nothing?) on the PC. Hot from me

Touchy subject for you seany1977? Not sure why you jumped in, i was only responding to bigmike20vt as he directly responded to me and stated incorrectly the difference between the two. It can be completely vanilla if you choose, but have 4x better texures and graphical effects which is a plus for many people I am sure. All I did was inform it was also available on PC for cheap at the moment. TO HELP PEOPLE THAT COULD HAVE INTEREST...

You should think before you type... Thanks.

I am not sure why you have to jump in and say 'It is better on the PC'. it really grinds my gears when there is an XBox or PS3 game post and somebody always chips in with 'It's better on the PC'. What are you? 5?
