Not sure if national or not, but I've just bought Oblivion on the PS3 for £9.99 in my local Gamestation (Stockton-on-Tees). There was a shelf full of them there, too.

The guys behind the counter said that Head Office had ordered too many, so they were selling them off, so I'm guessing it's a National deal?

Just looked on the Gamestation website, and it's still £34.99 on there, so must be instore only...

It's an excellent game (albeit a little old now) - highly recommended, definitely worth a tenner!

Here's my receipt, in case anywhere will price match based on this:

Excellent price - ill be down there tommorrow anyway so will check it out thanks:thumbsup:

Hot. I'll be picking this up for my PS3. Not really my type of game, but should be a good experience for a tenner. Shame it's not the GOTY version though

Yeah, that would be mega!

If I could order online at that price I'd risk getting it even though its meant for sad cases.

Visiting the retail park for Comet or city centre to go into Gamestation and them not having it is too much effort.

Quality game on PC, loved it to bits. Great price for PS3 version.

Have to pick one up tomorrow  thanks!

will gamestation be open tomorrow as it is good friday

off-topic, sorry... I got a new PC recently, and I'm thinking maybe I should try a few PC games, and am considering between Civilization and The Elder Scrolls. I was wondering which one I should try first?

shops would stay open on christmas day if they could get the staff to agree to it.

oh and, for the price, that's a bargain.

i don't own a PS3, but have the 360 version and have put an embarassing number of hours into it.

chh33, I'd say Oblivion with all the best PC mods you can find. But then I'm biased Back on topic, a good deal, shame not GotY edition and also Sixaxis controls aren't as good as the 360 controller (I've played both), but regardless of my opinions on the controls, the game itself is fantastic and open ended until later in the game when everything starts getting maxed out.

What are you talking about "sadcases" all your posts are complete tosh. Never read a constructive one from you, wish they brought back neg rep. You are a ******

Just to let you guys know this might not be a deal everywhere. I did the price changes at the Great Yarmouth Store Yesterday (Thursday) And It hadn't gone down in price. Fifa Street was down to £34.99 so was simpsons and afew others but nothing great that cheap.

They are two totally different game styles, so if you can, get both. If you can only get one, then it is down to what type of game style you prefer, strategy or roleplaying.

It's a great game but it's slow-paced and very time consuming, I would definitely get this but I already have the GOTY edition for the 360 but at this price it is a fantastic deal, voted hot.

By the way, the first expansion pack was included in the PS3 version anyway, so all this will be missing is the second one which I think was The Shimmering Isles.

Oh and by the way, if you like this and you have a PSP as well then get FFVII Crisis Core, it's awesome.

Nice one going to go try in Newcastle today. Got a £5 voucher for gamestation too. RESULT!

Yea, I can confirm that - the Knights of the Nine expansion is included in here, anyway:

From Back of Box

NEW GAMEPLAY: Experience additional content and expanded gameplay with … NEW GAMEPLAY: Experience additional content and expanded gameplay with the new Knights of the Nine faction

cars and boats

This is also one of the few games that is supposed to be better on the PS3 than the 360, I'm considering getting this for my PS3 even though I alreadly have it on the 360

For some reason I don't think this game would appeal to me, good price though.

Well prob not, we call stores/rivals in the local area but I don't we would for somewhere that far. Nice to see you using your credit notes

tried sunderland store and he said it was a pricing error and it should be 39.99. also tried comet and they had none left

Rang Game Station in Oldham, Oblivion not on offer there either

Ones in Newcastle are full price and no joy. Shame I quite fancied it.

I brought this version from Movietyme for £15.99, it was the US import version but I didn't want to pay too much as I wasn't convinced I would like the game (RPG aren't my bag).
But it is such a cracking game that several days later I brought the GOTY version from GAME.CO.UK for £26 and sold the other one on ebay.

I wouldn't say it is for sad cases, which is a criticism that I would level at many of the RPGs I've played in the past.

Has anybody been able to find this anywhere other than stockton?

I called GameStation ( chatham) and they were not doing this deal.

Doesn't seem to be - I might clear them out and make a killing on ebay, hehe!

Sorry guys - hope you can get them to price match with the receipt and photo (the phone number is on the receipt too... maybe you could get your local Gamestation to ring up?)

Definately not nationwide, none in stock in Glasgow. Not even pre-owned.:x

Thanks OP

Bagged a copy from the Stockton store. Limited to one per customer as its a special purchase. Still plenty of copies left if you live in the area. Free parking nearby as well;-)

Heat added. Rep coming your way.

£9.99 instore at COMET aswell.

None in stock at my Comet - all the games in there were £49.99 (bargain!) i find it hard to believe they'd reduce anything to £9.99, but good on you if you got one.

Tried the Hull branch today. The games are marked up at £34.99. Comet were also full price.

Cheers for telling - was gonna check!
