Great news Xbox fans! We had such a fantastic time welcoming so many Xbox One players to The Elder Scrolls Online’s Free Play Days last November, we’re doing it again!

For seven full days starting Tuesday, April 11 at 10am EST and running through to Tuesday, April 18 at 10am EST, Xbox Live Gold Members can adventure through Tamriel, build and grow characters, conquer Delves and Dolmens, and unravel another great Elder Scrolls saga on Xbox One. Whether you’re looking to quest online with your friends, or just want to head back to Tamriel by yourself for another epic Elder Scrolls adventure, ESO provides you the freedom and flexibility to play how you want to play.

On April 11, visit the product page for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited and download the game on your Xbox One — it’s about 80GB, so make sure you have enough room on your hard drive. Then you can jump in and begin your adventures through Tamriel with hundreds of hours of amazing stories, battles, and rewards all awaiting you.

As a bonus, all new accounts will also receive 500 Crowns to spend on whatever you’d like – from mounts to pets to costumes and more – via the in-game Crown Store. After the Free Play Days end, you can continue right where you left off! Any characters you create, Crown Packs, or Crown Store items you purchase, as well as any progress you make during the Free Play Days, will carry over when you purchase the game.

And when you buy this week, you’ll save some cash! During Free Play Days, you’ll enjoy a discounted price on either The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited (the base game) or The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, which includes the base game as well as the four major DLC packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and The Dark Brotherhood.

With all of our updates and additions in the last year, this is the best time ever to play ESO. We hope you’ll join us this week and find your own way through the massive open world of Tamriel!

At 80GB it will probably take me 7 days to download it

We've got Skyrim wasting like 26gb of HDD space, is this better or the same?

Its worse. Only reason people bought this before was because Skyrim wasn't on PS4 but now it is so no point now.

They're two completely different games, ESO is an MMORPG, it's not meant to be like Skyrim, it's hard to compare the two. As an online MMORPG, I feel ESO is probably second to WOW, I use to play ESO around a year ago and had a very fun time on it, sadly can't invest the time in to an MMORPG anymore but if I could I'd be all over this.
