Not used if bought from boomerang
I still find it somewhat odd why boomerang would offer this for rental, they never give codes out so why did they not just carry on with renting out the base game?

I was surprised. I bought Wolfenstein 2 recently and it was in mint condition! Disc too.

How does that work? Do they skim the top layer of the disc to remove marks?

They probably just clean them up, very much doubt they are skimming them as that could cause major problems with people's hardware. They could have some sort of deal with the makers for a free exchange of the disc if it has scratches. Still think what you get is a like new copy, new case and codes and from my experience a new disc, only thing missing is the wrapper.

It's not making money so it's spare inventory, nobody is renting it, would you pay £7-£10 a month to rent this game when for the same amount you can rent Far Cry 5 or God of War? It made it's money for them years ago.

So that's my point the original game come out June 2015, rentals would of dried up on that by the time morrowind come around in June 2017 so why an earth would boomerang even consider getting a shed load of stock in for a game that can be only offered to the customer in the same form as the first release.

I don't know about a shed load of stock in, what I do know is that they keep all codes and manuals, for all I know they were only renting base game but with the new chapter called Summerset maybe they've decided to sell it. Who knows but I hear what you're saying. If I could get a job lot of 20 copies at £2 ea I'd take them and sale them for a fiver, maybe that's what they've done, I don't know.

Yeah probably that, maybe a deal with the wholesalers and boomerang are helping them ship them.
Mine arrived today and the code was used. So not guaranteed the dlc will be with it.

It is guaranteed, drop them a email and tell them the code has been used and you will definitely get a full refund or a new copy
