The Elder Scrolls V 5: Skyrim Legendary Edition (PC) only 7.99 or 7.59(with 5% discount). At this price, Skyrim, brings hundreds of hours worth of gameplay with side quests and main mission. This is one of my top all time games and would never resist to buy it at this price!

Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year awards, experience the complete Skyrim collection with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition, including the original critically-acclaimed game, official add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn – and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode for hardcore players, and Legendary skills – enabling you to master every perk and level up your skills infinitely.

Key Features

  • Live Another Life, In Another World - Play any type of character you can imagine, and do whatever you want; the freedom of choice, storytelling, and adventure of The Elder Scrolls comes to life in one legendary experience complete with added weapons, armor, spells, and shouts from all three official add-ons.
  • Dawnguard - The Vampire Lord Harkon has returned to power. By using the Elder Scrolls, he seeks to do the unthinkable - to end the sun itself. Will you join the ancient order of the Dawnguard and stop him? Or will you become a Vampire Lord? In Dawnguard, the ultimate choice will be yours.

Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to turn stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings. Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.
  • Dragonborn - Journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the vast island of Solstheim.Traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land as you become more powerful with shouts that bend the will of your enemies and even tame dragons. Your fate, and the fate of Solstheim, hangs in the balance as you face off against your deadliest adversary – the first Dragonborn.

Good value. You can make this version look better than the new “Special Edition” if you mod it up (use Nexus mod manager and the Nexus website for the best results, but there are some rules in terms of load order for the mods and it can be a bit fiddly - I think you can use steam workshop too which is probably easier).

If you can’t be bothered with mods, the Special Edition looks so much better than the vanilla Legendary Edition. Which is really showing its age in my opinion. You can still mod the Special Edition to look even nicer.

You can also mod it’s predecessor Oblivion to a high graphics quality level - I started to do that last night but I am chugging along on less than 25fps on a fairly decent rig, so I’ve got some tweaking to do. Looks great though.
So many different "editions" I don't know which to choose. Glad I read your blurb first @dan_lesser I'd have thought legendary would have come after special. Which if any support ultra widescreen monitors natively without messing with mods please?

I am pretty sure the Special Edition works on ultra wide with no modification. My son runs it on his UW screen. I don’t know for sure about the Legendary / Vanilla version but I think it needs a mod. There is a program that runs in the background called flawless widescreen which supports many games including the original Skyrim. Worth having a look at as it auto updates and from memory you don’t need to fiddle with settings.

FYI - Legendary edition has all the dlc but is the original version. Special Edition was released around a year ago (??) updated with higher res graphics, although the character faces are still poor unless modded.
