About The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition
The bundle will include the original game plus the three official
expansions, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn, along with other
patched improvements such as combat cameras, mounted combat, the
Legendary difficulty mode and Legendary skills that allow you to master
all perks and level up skills indefinitely.
The game may be played from a first-person perspective, viewing the
game world through the eyes of their character, or from a third-person
perspective, with the player character visible on the screen, and the
camera able to be freely rotated. The player can explore the open world
of Skyrim on foot or on horse, and fast-travel to cities, towns, and
dungeons after they have been discovered. Quests are given to the player
by non-player characters (NPCs) in the world, and through the Radiant
Story system, the quests can be dynamically altered to accommodate for
player actions which may influence the quests, characters, and
objectives. The Radiant Story then further directs the player's
interaction with the world by setting unexplored dungeons as quest
locations.

There’s so many editions of this game, I don’t know which is the latest and greatest update. I’ve given up on it. I’ve finished it once, I’ll wait for the next release in 2032.
Haha. There's 3 that I'm aware of, Legendary, Special and Anniversary. Legendary is basically a game of the year edition which includes base game and dlc. Special is the same but the graphics have been remastered. Anniversary got another graphics update but with 500 mods available through the ingame mod menu. Special edition gets the anniversary graphics for free.
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.
Still to date the best game I have ever played. Just my opinion though.
That's a fact, not an opinion
Skyrim is my comfort food of gaming. Tried all sorts of cuisines around the world, liked some, hated some, loved others but Skyrim is the burger fries and cold beer. I keep coming back to the familiar, enjoyable, easy to digest, straightforwardness of it and you can add as many ingredients as you like to change it up, every once in a while.
Still haven't got this to work very well on Steam Deck, but by God I'll keep working at it.
The comment just before your has it working fine on Steam deck
You can buy this and the anniversary as an expansion (£8.49) for still cheaper than the stand alone anniversary edition
I can confirm I tried this and the anniversary dlc can't upgrade from this version of skyrim. feel like a right tit lol
This is not the 64 bit version that comes with the special addition, correct?
Correct, Special Edition and Anniversary Edition come with the newer 64 bit executable which is more stable. Classic Skyrim (this) still has slightly more mods although I'd imagine lots haven't been updated in years: nexusmods.com/
Special Edition is £9.99 at CD Keys which has the same 3 DLC but with HD Graphics. Also the Anniversary Edition is £19.99. Hope this helps.
Playable on steam deack. I've already started Halo and Mass Effect, both of which are taking up my time I wonder whether I should get this or just wait till I've finished them!?
This or a big Mac meal? :P (edited)
I got the special ed on game pass on pc. Lucky boy.
Not everyone wants to pay for a subscription service
Anyone looking for the special edition - with the Quidco 10gbp cashback you can get it for 99p from cdkeys.
