The bundle will include the original game plus the three official expansions, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn, along with other patched improvements such as combat cameras, mounted combat, the Legendary difficulty mode and Legendary skills that allow you to master all perks and level up skills indefinitely.
The game may be played from a first-person perspective, viewing the game world through the eyes of their character, or from a third-person perspective, with the player character visible on the screen, and the camera able to be freely rotated. The player can explore the open world of Skyrim on foot or on horse, and fast-travel to cities, towns, and dungeons after they have been discovered. Quests are given to the player by non-player characters (NPCs) in the world, and through the Radiant Story system, the quests can be dynamically altered to accommodate for player actions which may influence the quests, characters, and objectives. The Radiant Story then further directs the player's interaction with the world by setting unexplored dungeons as quest locations.

You'll get many hours for your £8.78 from what I've heard (not played it either, or the witcher for that matter) tempted myself tbh

Might get back into this. Wish they would update the engine to directx12

I think paid £5 for the legendary edition 3 years ago lol.

Nah just wait until it's a fiver again. It may have been £5 3 years ago. It was also £5 less than 1 year ago. It'll be £5 around Christmas. I'm sure a couple of extra months won't hurt if you've waited this long for what is a fairly mundane game since Morrowind.

As in 2 months after it released? Seems legit.

Seriously though it has been available for around that price a few times and no doubt will be again once all the inexplicable hype about the free "upgrade" for the PC dies down.

How do we know it upgrades to the new remaster for free?

Oh I see uk.ign.com/art…dlc

If you load the remastered version up in Steam it tells you.

i don't think you understand what inexplicable means.

Bethesda will probably retire the existing listings from Steam in which case their price will go up for a while. They can't list them at different prices as the remaster is free for existing owners.

Presumably remaster customers will also get access to the old versions, otherwise the price of these will skyrocket (incompatible mods / purists who disapprove of the enhancements etc.)

I doubt the price will drop again to £5 any time soon with the remaster on the way!

At Christmas it will - just watch for it on this site - I personally 100% guarantee it will come up. Only a handful of people really care about the 'remaster'. Those who want to make it more shiny on PC will just get a few mods for that rather than being shafted buying the same game again. I do wonder though why people at Bethesda can't just make a decent enough job of the graphics in the first place.

Don't forget to also download Enderal - A total Skyrim mod which gives … Don't forget to also download Enderal - A total Skyrim mod which gives you at least 30 hours of gameplay with new characters, storyline and environment using the Skyrim engine, plus it's free!

I second this - it's a massive (and I mean MASSIVE) mod for Skyrim, it changes the fundamentals of the game quite a lot and has its own lore, storyline, even voice actors, etc. It's using the Skyrim engine and textures, etc. - it's still a bit buggy but they are updating it constantly. You need to install Skyrim (I'd fire it up once to make sure it's happily running) and then you need to install the Enderal launcher; this can download the main pack (about 8gig) or you can download that through the Nexus Mod Manager. enderal.com/

I'd say that 30 hours game play is too conservative; it's closer to the full original game in sheer size, much bigger than most of the DLCs. No dragons that I've seen so far but overall I'm beyond impressed with it; it's had SOOOO much work put into it and it's all free! I'd say it mainly suits those who have finished the main game and want to start something new.

100 Hours + of great game for a silly low price. Its a no brainer.

I worked at tesco when this came out and me and my mates were hyped so much, I had an exam on my managers course and one question was "how can we help prevent fires?" My answer... Kill more dragons! Loved/love this game!
