6 months is a long time for a preorder, good price but personally I'd wait till a bit closer to the launch date

Tell me about it. Oblivion is one of the few games I paid full price for where I got value for money.

Considering this... But does anyone know if Tesco take money straight away on preorders? Or do they take money out on dispatch?

I'm pretty sure they take money on dispatch, I've pre-ordered with them before.

This game looks EPIC!!!! Just hate that it's so far away, devs hurry your asses up and get this game out.

Can't wait for this game, looks epic. Getting this on PC to see it in all its glory lol. I wasted god knows how many hours of my life on Oblivion and still never finished it lol. I imagine this game will waste even more!! lol

Voted hot btw...

It's now saying £39.90. Have they put the price up?

have you used the 15% off code

Shame you can't use E-Wallet funds on pre-orders!

I must confess to thoroughly enjoying oblivion. This is a definite purchase for me.

Self-induced coma is a possible option....:p

I'll wait closer to the release date, there will be companies trying to out do each other. bring it on!

Oh and this game will be EPIC.

I was gonna post this deal the other day, but I felt like a lazy blob so I didnt bother!
Anyway have some heat!

In the mean time, there's always The Witcher 2 for those with a PC.

This is going to be the best game this year by a long, long way. Can't wait.

I've had two items on preorder with Tesco and they've both arrived on the day of release.

it comes out a week after Uncharted 3, so no - it will have to settle for 2nd or 3rd. Battlefield 3 is out around same time too.

I guess that's a matter of preference rather than 'fact'. Whilst I enjoy a good blast of Uncharted, it lacks depth and real challenge, a limitation of its audience and genre. Battlefield will inevitably suffer a similar fate in its singleplayer campaign as all FPS's do, but its multiplayer will be well loved. Skyrim will have masses of depth, but I bet it has the weakest narrative in terms of production values, intensity etc.

As a fan of games in general, I think they're all going to be high quality titles, but picking out which one is best several months in advance is a bit silly really.

true, but uncharted 2 is still officially the number 1 game on ps3 so i guess its only natural to expect uncharted 3 to be better. in the run up to release i am going to replay the first 2 even though i platinumed them. no other games would get that from me.
