Just taken delivery of one of these and really impressed. Not sure I believe the original £49.95 RRP but for less than 20 quid delivered its an absolute bargain. 5 star reviews on Amazon as well so thought i'd share the love

The ELF Portable Bluetooth Speaker features powerful and crystal clear stereo sound. Lightweight and portable, enjoy your favorite music wirelessly at home, office, car, etc. The ELF is equipped with two 40mm, 6-watt (combined) drivers for amazingly clear sound.

Adjust the volume and switch tracks directly from the Bluetooth speakers, or from your Bluetooth device. Speaker will sound an audible warning when battery is low. Also view the battery power level on your iPhone. The ELF connects approximately 10 meters distance, and will automatically connect to the last connected Bluetooth device.

Enjoy your music all day with one single charge. The built-in Li-Ion rechargeable battery lasts for up to 8-10 hours per charge (varies according to volume).

The ELF measures approximately 15.2mm x 5mm x 4mm.

Undecided on what speaker to get yet....

That hand is tiny based on those measurements of the speaker!

Really good reviews on Amazon, any one on here got one & agrees with the reviews on amazon about it?

Little bit suspicious there is not one bad review.

I got mine through the post today, held off posting about it until I'd had a play with it first

I'm pretty impressed with it as are a couple of people in my office who are also going to order one. It's compact, easy to setup and is surprisingly loud too. Obviously it's not a Bose for twenty quid but sound quality is still pretty decent and not sure you'd get much better at this price

Could you tell use what port it has for charging please? A review mentions USB but doesn't state mini or micro.

There are so many mini bluetooth speakers now it's hard to pick the good ones but surely amazon.co.uk/Aud…k_1 with a 20 hour battery life is better?

You get a micro USB charger and a short 3.5mm jack lead with it.

I also looked at the one you've posted but it's only 2x3 watts whereas this one is 2x5 watts. Can't see me ever really needing 20 hours without charge either.

To be honest, there's loads of decent budget speakers out there so take your pick

Thanks for your response but can I ask you where you got the specs for the speakers from please? The product description states

What makes you say better? Reviews seem to suggest it has worse sound quality.

Does the Brick have NFC pairing? It's not mentioned but it is implied in the pictures.

Just got the Mesh speaker, not impressed sound on speech for podcasts is poor, Bluetooth coverage is only OK if both devices are close and in same room, it also manages to reboot my phone when i connect the Bluetooth. Would not buy another, the brick looks exactly the same except for the name.

Sorry, I read it wrong, it is 6 watts combined.

Soooo many BT speakers about. Jambox thus far is the best portable I've heard. How do these compare for sound against that?

Flubit have offered me it at £18.75. A saving they say of 6%.

Can you use a normal phone charger (ac adapter) to charge this with? I don't want to damage it and its not very clear from the instructions

Gone up to £24.95
