I am on a diet. I eat less. I am losing weight.
If I exercised I'm sure I would be able to eat more and lose weight but I am too lazy.
I eat four apples for breakfast. Very filling. A two slice of bread sandwich for lunch and a banana. For dinner whatever fits into a small cereal bowl. It could be fish n chips or cake and ice cream. It cannot be above the rim of the bowl!!!!! There's a diet in a paragraph

Just some information: According to the Newcastle research it's not the speed of losing weight but just the fact of losing weight that matters. They say for diabetes remission it is the loss of around 15 kg and maintaining that loss that is a factor.

As for daily diet they suggest a sugar/carb intake of around 50g , protein 60g fat 90g , to a total of 1200 calories. The 600 or 800 cal diet is not necessary. Fat is your friend not your enemy. Need more calories increase fat not carbs. Too much Proteins have the same effect as carbs so limit. Post diet 25% carbs 35% proteins 40% fat.

1g carb or 1g protein = 3 cal . 1g fat = 9 cal.
