i really like drinking whisky

seems like a bargain!

Saw this yesterday, and didn't buy.

This must be a sign...

Hot deal.

Mmmm. Definitely going to buy a few of these!

Good price if you're a whiskey drinker. Cheers

Can also get your own label printed - Link on site somewhere...

It's been this price for the last 2 weeks, I'm sure its £13.95 in Morrisons

3 bottles for less than 50 quid and some real good fun driving home !!!

I'm voting hot for the deal but I think this stuff tastes like crap....Old Pulteney for me every time but this is a good price for a litre if you can pallet it...

Got 3 of these for £13.95 each on Saturday at Morrisons, not sure if the deal is still on, see link below.

is drinkable but if after cheap nicer drink try highland black from aldi

aldi.co.uk/en/…ky/

Not too keen on this stuff but picked a bottle up anyway for everyone else to have a drink of, i soon grabbed a couple bottles of JD though for the same price :P (not litre bottle)

nice one

This isn't whisky, it's blended, for real whisky you need a single malt. This stuff goes alright in hot toddies, but that's it, IMO

same price in morrisons not £13.95

Which is on offer at Tesco for £20....total bargain...order this instead...not a litre but trust me...it is worth the extra!

i got this when i picked up some sourz on offer. and a cheeky bottle of vodka that was reduced from £20 to £15.
just need some offers on coke now.. (i know, chaz, but i enjoy it)

Tastes like ashtray water. Urgh.

Is there an echo in here?

Eugh wiskey is proper rank

Been £15 most places, I think it was £15 least month @ Sainsbury's too. Not that this isn't a good deal though, as all the other ones seem to have expired

A whiskey being a blend does not necessarily make it rank; some single malts (e.g. Glen Moray) taste like cat's ****, whilst a number of blends (e.g. the Johnnie Walker stable) aren't bad at all.

Sainsbury's £15.00
Tesco £18.00
ASDA £18.00
Ocado £20.50 Valid until: 02/01
Waitrose £21.00 Valid until: 02/01

or you could buy The Famous Grouse Whisky 70cl £19.00/unit also at sainsburys - go figure

at the absolute top end of the market are your aged single malts

then there are blends of top end whisky that are absolutely fantastic.

To say blends are awful shows an absolute naivety of whisky. If you avoid blends you are missing out on some fantastic stuff out there. Stop being pretentious if you don't know your stuff.

The Whyte & Mackay Blended Whisky 1 litre is also £15.00 instore at Sainsburys, i got 2 bottles about an hour ago and used my £4.50 off a £30 spend ticket that get churned out when you buy from there and also the double Nector points ticket i also had (_;)

.....Pray tell us of your extensive knowledge...I really mean it,I would really appreciate it,no sarcasm intended...I bought a single malt for a dear friend, and it was slated on here, now I feel a fool.

Not unusual for it to be offered at this price but a good price all the same ..

The 21 year old royal salute I got as my wedding present from my wife (my choice) is as nice as any single malt including expensive ones I've tried and it is blend....liquid good...for my pallet...that's the whole point...like any drink it depends on the occasion or your mood...too much fake snobbery in whisky AND whiskey...drink what tastes nice top you...learn by trying not by reading someone telling you blend are rubbish...

Liquid gold even...bloody phone!
