Thanks. Some decent deals for 4k there but the poor exchange rate really not helping at the moment

With ad’s and at 480p
Wouldn’t it be nice if they released The Fifth Element on UK iTunes...

I bought The Fifth Element on 4k bluray from US, this is how you do a 4k remaster.
That poster makes it look like Christopher Lambert is in it (that would be amazing)

Most will be able to skip ads and also access C5 HD.

Most wont be able to skip ads. They may be able to fast forward them if they recorded it which is a faff in itself the amount of ad breaks and C5 HD is only 1080i. Still poor quality for HD never mind 4K.

Fast foward / skip... same thing. 1080i is fine for me and fine for most people, if not all. Sure, iTunes 4K is the bees knees, but shouldn't dismiss watching it for free on C5. It's a valid option for some people, and worthwhile posting the info I think.

I disagree. Most movies you can watch on TV somewhere or another. Movies for sale are likely going to be somebody who wants the quality or looking to “own” them rather than waiting for the TV guide to bring the movie there way. Most movie posts you might aswell post it’s going to be on TV at some point.

What have skipping ads and CH5 to do with a US Itunes price thread?
The exchange rate is a problem though - last week 80p to $ today 90p

I agree if it's immediately accessible. And would extend that to Netflix / Prime. The only films worth buying for keeps are those ones you will eventually watch again. I buy permanent films (both physical and digitally) but appreciate the chance to watch some for free especially if you're in two minds about a film. Think it's relevant and right to point it out. I've often been about to pull the trigger on a nicely priced Blu-ray only for a poster to mention it's currently free on, say, Netflix. After watching it, sometimes I go on to buy the Blu-ray, other times it saves me money.
