the game is actually really good according to neogaf forums..

the impression i got from reading the forum review is that the general reviewers didn't properly play the game - by this i mean they didn't level up properly..

and there is a new update that corrects one of the complaints (none transparent player)

don't take my word for it - read the comments

forum discussion on the game

i am tempted to get it but might hold out for a price drop to sub £15

Not a bad price voted hot but bad reviews at MetacriticMetascore 46

did you read what i wrote?

reviewer's reviews seem to be at odds with user reviews.

the user review on metacritic is 8.4 - even higher than 8.3 user review for sports champion (which had a 7.7 critic review on metacritic)...

according to many of the users, it seems that the critics didn't spend enough time training up their boxer and hence struggled to play the game properly..

the user reviews on amazon, neogaf and metacritic seems to average (80%) considerably higher than the critic review (46%) - probably more so than any game i have seen lately..

Anyone actually played it? I'm curious now.

The fact that it got bad reviews is a good thing because now its cheap. I heard that it got bad reviews because the controls are 'inaccurate' but... At the start of the game they are, you need to upgrade the accuracy by training in game.

I'm it is a good game, just can't wait for it to arrive.

Remember Quidco...Save yourself £2

Hot. Good price. I paid £30 for this at HMV.

The game is quite bad though, so many issues with calibration.

I can't wait for Fight Night Champion (PS Move Compatible) to come out
