The debut album from Damon Albarn's latest project incorporates bass playing from Paul Simonon of The Clash, drumming from the talented and revered Afro-beat star, Tony Allen and guitar work from former Verve man, Simon Tong. Production comes from Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley fame while Albarn focuses on defining 21st Century London life across the album's twelve tracks. The singles 'Herculean' and 'Kingdom Of Doom' are included and this special edition includes a DVD of live tracks and rehearsal footage.

I find the guy totally devoid of any sort of musical talent. Still a good deal for those that like that sort of thing though.

I didn't like the record, but they were okay live - first time I had seen Paul Simonon on stage since Havana 3AM in '91!

Love this album for summer vibes, and reminds me of seeing them at Sziget festival in Budapest.

Not a bad album, been looking at picking it up for this price for a while so may invest. Got Blur at Newcastle Academy in a couple of weeks as well:)

Very atmospheric album - genius.
