Miracles happen in unexpected places, even in the Death Row cell block at Cold Mountain Penitentiary. There John Coffey, a gentle giant of a prisoner with supernatural powers, brings a sense of spirit and humanity to his guards and fellow inmates.

Tom Hanks leads a stellar ensemble (including Michael Clarke Duncan as Coffey) in this emotional, uplifting story of guards and captives; husbands and wives; prisoners and a remarkable mouse named Mr. Jingles; and on another level, of a moviemaker and his source.

That filmmaker is Frank Darabont, who returns after his 1994 directorial debut, The Shawshank Redemption, to adapt another tale by Stephen King into stirring, crowd-pleasing entertainment, nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Heat from me-excellent price for an excellent film!

People saying BARGAIN PRICE ? I am sure this film has been on £2.99 for years now ?

Only reason it has been submitted again is to generate affilate money for christmas by one of the mods.

I agree unfortunatly £2.99...Like ALL movies on for example:

Anchorman £2.99
Cool Running £2.99
Who framed Roger Rabbit £2.99
In Brudges £2.99
Happy Gillmore £2.99
+ Many MANY MANY!! more

yeah ive watched it this week too but had to take regular pauses to compose myself as my pregnancy hormones are all over the place so was hard to watch without bursting into tears lol

Awful film, has been at this price for months, voted cold (again).

Watched part of it again last night but have seen it 10+ times over the years. Have the DVD from overseas and a downloaded copy. Not sure why anyone would buy this but it is a good film.
