There is a great selection of children's books in Scots including Tintin and Asterix. Amazon has most of these and Waterstones in Scotland carry quite a few as well.

Haha! Amazing! I tried to read 'Train Spotting' once. Could nae undestan' a wird

Great idea !

Does the mouse just tell the Gruffalo to "stich that", and head butts it?

Is this Scottish Scots or Ulster Scots?

"The Gruffalo said it wid come tae nae guid If a gruffalo roamed in the deep mirk widd. How no, how no? Because, hae nae doot, The Muckle Mad Moose will find ye oot."

Great find...good wee addition to my little girls collection heat added

Great find and a great price

I thought the Scottish version had been renamed Subo's Child?

Book People have this and the original Gruffalo in Scots too - both £3.99 (postage extra).

Nice find. If you look at the other sellers you can get it for 29p plus £2.80 delivery.

Wtf

This book is brilliant. We prefer this one to the English version. There's also the Gruffalo in Scots and Room on the Broom in Scots too. We bought them in Tesco for £3.50 I think.

Don't forget Roald Dahl's "The Sleekit Mr Tod" ;-)

Superb, I didn't know they did scots versions. Does it have an adult weegie version. "Gonnae no dae that" said the moose, " or I'll pure wrap you aroon the mooth" "just come ahead an ye'll see, naebody messes aboot wi me"

I think you'll find it's ENGLISH and a weird teang which Scots folk have......you can't change a language based on colloquialisms....

The original is a classic. Do not buy this garbage.

Maybe if the one deal you have ever posted had been in Scots it would have done better. Merry Christmas.
