My cousin Shared this code with me. You pay £16.79, instead of £20.99 or £20.78, instead of £25.98 per month. And NO JOINING FEE! Gyms outside of London are probably cheaper. These prices are for my local gym.

Yes. Students of ways in getting discounts. The education never stops
Sometimes it can be a bit of a meat factory. But for 24/7 access for £12 a month I cant complain really.

Worked fine for me for the last 3 months. I’m not student
Great, just joined at 11.99! Great Deal.
If I cancel my membership and rejoin with this, how long will I keep the new price?
For the price most of the locations I've tried are fine, even if the manager in my home one loves enforcing the no bag policy... even when it's small and the individual contents, which are allowed, would take up more floor space...
Great find, I have been looking for a new gym recently and there is one of these local to me.
The Gym group is ok if you're predominately doing cardio, they badly underinvest in their free weights in terms of supplying dumbells that go up to a decent weight and the amount of plates for deadlift, squat and bench.

I'm actually very much in favour of the no bag policy and painfully Pro for the towel policy which nobody seems to abide by except me. Do people really not mind taking other people's sweat home with them? . Regarding bags, Lockers are provided and you shouldn't risk people falling over them

Depends on your local gym. Mine has the best kit for a gym I've ever been to

I'd recommend visiting a wider variety of gyms in that case!

I have. And I know many, if not most, are ill equipped to accommodate the volume of members they have.

Depends where you go, the ones in Manchester are great
waxsta29/07/2019 08:39

Which membership did you select? Also this must be a gym in London

Yeah London Bloomsbury. It’s normally £28.99 but yeah it’s still alright. Sad thing is I used to pay £21 but then cancelled and haven’t joined since. They keep increasing their prices.

A belt, towel, water bottle, headphones etc are a greater trip hazard than one small bag that would carry these items. I'm not visiting the locker everytime I need my belt, towel, water etc

It's a workout in itself getting to other side of town to this gym. Shame because it so much cheaper than my local. Heat for price.

Absolutely not the case in the one I go to. I joined for 10.99 a month with no joining fee using NHS Discount

I respectfully disagree. A bag will always be on the floor, where as the items you've mentioned "on your person" when used. If I bring my headphones they would be around my neck or over my ears, towels always on the bench, or whatever equipment I use, bottle in the bottle slot on the machines. Belt, if I use one, either on me or in the locker.

I see your point though. Although if you allow one gym bag you have to allow them all. Then it can become a serious problem.

True, l agree but there could be a size limit.

Again, it's impractical to have to return to the locker every single time. Also 75% of my workout is machine free so the bottle would be on the floor. My small bag hangs on the rack / bench / machine and takes less space than the contents combined, most of which I use on every exercise.

Belt, straps, water, towel, resistance bands, phone (not putting it on the floor or my pocket) plus other bits and pieces. It all adds up. One small bag kept under the bench or hanging on the rack et voila.

It's also annoying how I rarely see anybody put weights away, which I do, yet I get stopped mid set because I have a small bag under the bench.
Code still works. Used it to upgrade to live it for same price as standard.

You can't regulate/ police bag sizes. But I get your point.

Ye, it's a tricky one. I'll have to wear a hoodie with lots of pockets To be fair the manager said there was a woman with 6 bags on the gym floor. 6 :O
What is the significance of the "Home" gym? For example, is there anything stopping me selecting one of the cheaper gyms (ie Blackpool) to sign up for the Live It package but regularily training at a much different location?
