I bought this kit quite a few years ago. The jack worked ok on my Range Rover. The axle stands held up ok. The worst bit of the kit was the trolley bed. I wouldn't bother using it. Certainly value & will be more than adequate on the average car.

Looks better then a similar set I got from Argos in 2001 and that's still going strong. I used to have a zetec engine sat on the creeper so I could wheel it out of the way.

Awesome, have ordered

Need to get my dad's old Merc back on the road. This'll help no end. Ta

good price for all that

Hot, Bought the jack seperate a couple of years back & still works great now. Reserved this, Great price for everything! Thanks Op

Awesome been looking for a deal like this for ages. Now I can jack up my nan after one of her famous doughnut binges and that stretcher will be awesome for carting her to the hospital.

I was given one of these jacks a while back by a guy who found a brand new one in the boot of a car he'd bought...

fine as a freebie but certainly wouldn't go spending a lot of money on one, main problem is the saddle height, it's just to high to get under anything even a little bit low and the saddle is very small so it's very easy to damage sill edges etc

not voted either way, just be careful this thing is going to be all you expect of it

Don't forget 3% quidco as well, it all helps

Hmm ive had this jack going on 7 years now and its been fine for everything other then lowered cars...

And even on lowered cars just drive them onto a piece of wood and no issues

I got the creeper, jack but different axle stands, mine are black with a ratchet not pins. Works great for me and had lots of use, I used it all on VW T4/T5 vans with no issues.

Anyone got experience of bottle jacks? I only need a jack for swapping wheels over couple of times a year, but if I get this set the rest may come in handy with servicing my partners motor.

Great deal.

bottle jacks are far less stable, admittedly due to my own stupidity was leaning into the boot of my car to get something while dad was underneath it and pushed the bottle jack over crushing him ( no lasting damage ) would never use a bottle jack again nor work without axle stands! heat added!

would this jack lift the car enough to be able to use the creeper lol

Sounds like a lucky escape. I always use axle stands too, just trying to find an easier (and cheap) way of jacking the car up without using the one that came with the car.

HOT and Bought - many thx

Does it even lift?

Do's and don'ts when using trolley jack or you could end up with serious damage. Never jack up on engine sump, under slung spare wheel, or sill points. Jack up on sub frame cross members, rear axle, and chock wheels. If your working under car, always use axle stands on level stable ground.
Scissor jack that comes with car is designed to engage with jack-up sill location points only.

Hot, ordered one, ty OP

why the trolley bed isn't made without rubber wheels ill never know.

Had one of the beds and although it seems a great idea, you will need to jack the car even higher and it is useless on anything beyond perfectly flat level ground (because there is no grip in the wheels, they will even get stuck in driveway paving!)

Good price, but too many compromises here in my opinion. Handy for occasional use or as a spare.

TCB tracked £1.04@3%,bring the price down even more.

Heated but not for me, I wouldn't use the creeper as prefer old cardboard under - keeps you off floor and catches any leaks etc.

Was going to buy a jack today but this is well worth the £7.50 extra, thanks !

Its designed to lift a car and that it will do. Its not a use daily in a profession type way as reflected by it's price but is perfectly fine (and a damn sight better than those things that pass for a jack that they give you when you spend 10k+ on a car in the boot!) for changing a tyre or doing your brakes, oil change, and any number of do at home jobs with a socket set. Had one similar (Screwfix job) and it was fine up until about 7 or 8 years old when I started to notice the wheel buckling (largely down to uneven surface that is tarmac) and starting to take a lot longer to get the car up in the air. Since replaced it with an Arcan 3 Ton from Costco which could probably lift a tank it's so well built TBH.

I have the jack and axle stands - solid items and have served well. Probably wouldn't use the creeper but for the price it's still a good deal.

Don't see many 3 Ton tanks about these days.
