It's no Netflix that's for sure. But you have to remember Prime also includes free one day (sometimes!) delivery, free music, and free Kindle stuff. Still worth it for the price I think.

As for some good films - I've enjoyed Live Die Repeat, Interstellar, Inception, Gravity, Arrival - The Game, Silence of the Lambs, ET, Jaws, Chinatown - Downfall, Land of Mine - Carol, Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea, and that was a quick look around in 5 minutes! Plenty more classics past and present available...

I’ve almost finished my prime trial . The selection of recent films isn’t great . “Hell or High Water “ was one of the best we found

Your Name, The Boy and the Beast and The Red Turtle are ones I've enjoyed recently.

Foreign animation films are a bit of an acquired taste though

There's a few Oscar films like moonlight I keep meaning to watch but fear they will be really dull.

Moonlight was my second favourite film of last year and I'm a huge film buff, lol.

Then again, Prime's film choices seem more geared to the Mark Kermode crowd (i.e. me) then the more mass-appeal route like Netflix.

Yeah they are probably just cheaper to buy for them! Some decent foreign films out on it. And they have mindhorn... free fire... Swiss army man

Much prefer Amazon Video to Now TV movies and probably better for films than Netflix as well

Now TV film genre sections are rarely updated - The new daily films are mostly rubbish straight to video

I wont be renewing Now Tv - their christmas selection was terrible as well! Amazon won that as well with Elf, Gremlins, etc
Handmaiden was just OK. A pretty contrived con-story thats veeerrrry dragged out. There are much better films on Prime, and I'm not sure of the need to post them all as freebies.

On the subject of Primes selection - you'll discover much more by selecting a film you like, then clicking the 'people who watched this also watched...' link. There are lots of films that don't show up much on the usual category selections. Also, lots of documentaries if you search for a particular subject.

Thank God I don't give a flying #### about your opinion, save to say I have seen most of what is on there and the rest of b movie rubbish.

The age of some of the old films on there is shocking.

Not a patch on now tv movie pass.
The Man in the High Castle.

One of the best series I've seen, the subscription is worth taking for this alone.
Season 3 coming later today this year, won't be cancelling the subscription till then..

You have seen most of what's on there? There are over 35,000 titles included with prime but please enlighten us with some more of your bs. Also when did the age of the film have anything to do with its quality?

Who are you Jeff Bezos (look him up).

You don't know me so jog on.

You don't know what I like and it has nothing to do with you, so troll someone else.

If you don't like being called out then you should go cry somewhere else as this is a public forum or just don't post bs in the future.
Wow - these are grown adults acting like this....

Anyway I think films is limited but often has stuff unavailable elsewhere - navigation is poor though - most of the recent films I found through the TV app on Apple TV. The Founder is one of my favourite films of recent times and that never made it to sky or Netflix, only Amazon. Gold is on my list to see and being an NFL fan, their library from them is fantastic. I’ll personally be interested to see what they do with ATP tennis. Sky’s movies have gone downhill for me - Netflix I was always indifferent to but saw (again through ATV) that they have all of the recent wahlberg films which again didn’t make it onto sky (deepwater horizon and patriots day)

You didn't call out anything.

Truth you are so sad I bet you counted all 35,000 films.

Next time you want to see something "abysmal " look in the mirror.
