Devastated by a failed hostage situation which resulted in the deaths of a young mother and her child, LAPD negotiator Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis) exits Los Angeles for a no profile job as chief of police in the low crime hamlet of Bristo Camino, a small town in Ventura County. When three delinquent teenagers follow home a family intending to steal their car, they have inadvertently picked the wrong house on the wrong day. The trio find themselves trapped in a multi-million dollar compound on the outskirts of town, owned by an accountant working for a mysterious crime enterprise. Panicked, the teenagers take the family hostage, placing Talley in exactly the kind of situation he never wanted to face again. Soon after, Talley readily hands authority of the hostage situation over to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department and leaves the scene. Meanwhile, inside the compound is digital information, which is time sensitive and invaluable to the mysterious criminals and critical to their enterprise. They will stop at nothing to get what belongs to them. Talley is forced to resume the command he abandoned, where the stakes quickly evolve into a hostage situation far more volatile and terrifying than anything he could ever imagine.

Definatley worth £2.99 IMO

Decent enough film for £2.99 but I really wish people would stop going through every sale posted & listing EVERY SINGLE ITEM INDIVIDUALLY (as was done with the Play Sale)!

I didn't notice Hostage when I posted Blade Trinity earlier (which has since expired), but even so that's still only a grand total of 2 items from The Hut today! I say fair play to amibees

Everyone's entitled to post what they want & read what they want & vote on what they want....I was hoping a hint at this stage would avoid the continual posting of single items that the Play sale produced.
How many items do any of these sales actually have that you need all of them posted? Surely it would be easier & quicker to take a few minutes & look through the sale listings on a particluar site than be spoon-fed bit by bit (with someone else's taste).
Fair enough, if there are some great/big reductions it's worth pointing out before they sell out then go for it...but that was certainly NOT what happened with the Play sale.

Thanks, bought it, so I will blame you if its crap! :-D

It's an ok film let down by the fact that the bad guy is a noodle-armed emo.

i thought it was rubbish

Probably the worst film ever staring Bruce Willis but... that lass who plays the female hostage is pretty damn nice though.

oOo i love hostage, and bruce willis

It's Bruce Willis' real-life daughter who plays the hot young lass. It's a pretty good film I thought.

Gaz
