Team up with a dashing hero and his wise-cracking sidekick as Jak and Daxter leap onto PS4™ in four action-packed adventures. From the dynamic duo’s origins to their explosive motorsport debut, experience the pair’s complete story across:
• Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy™.
• Jak II™: Renegade.
• Jak 3™.
• Jak X: Combat Racing.

I've been waiting for this collection to drop, I absolutely loved these games on the PS2. I've already got The Precursor Legacy, and it's the only game I've ever got a platinum for.

Time to go see if Jak 2 is as frustrating as I remember, lol (or it might have been 3, I just remember a shooting mission in the city that was an absolute nightmare)

These arent even remasters. Just ps2 ports. Better of with ps3 remaster collection. If theres a chance to play it on ps3

No, they're literally just the PS2 version running on PS4. No upgrades. Nothing (apart from maybe progressive scan I guess).
Anyone know off the top of their head if these have trophies? Cheers

Yep, below is from description:

These outrageous PlayStation®2 adventures look stunning in 1080p on PS4™, and feature full trophy support – including one coveted Platinum per game.

1080p my ass >.> I have the 1st title as it's been out for like 9 months now, it's the ps2 version not the HD remake (as already said earlier)

I platinum'ed the first one recently - it was excellent - after playing it years ago on the PS2. I'm in my 30's too

I played it for the first time 2-3 years ago on PS3 and Vita and loved it. The second game was terrible and didn't feel like a sequel to the same series because of all the driving. I gave up a couple of hours into it.

Would get if it was physical, I have the collection on PS3 (excludes Jak X)

It's pretty straightforward iirc, it's mostly collecting all the orbs.
Yeah the platinum for the first game was pretty easy, I already played it through multiple times on PS2 though so it all came flooding back to me, lol.

So is this collection actually worse than the PS3 version? I kinda skipped the PS3, I do have one but it's not set up at the mo so having it on the PS4 would definitely be preferable.
The final boss in Jak 2 PS3 was a lot easier. As well as the sewage mission. Anyone else feel the same?

That's not exactly true. It is the PS2 version but it is running at 1080p not at the original PS2 resolution. It is actually generally better than the PS3 remaster due to the way the two versions were done. It should be noted that some of the visual effects were missing in the PS3 remaster which are present in the PS4 version, and PS4 version is higher resolution. Here is a comparison video:-

It's still excellent, and is still one of the top platformers I've ever played.
