Working out at about just over £2 a film, this is a pretty good deal as far as iTunes are concerned. It's currently £52.53 on Blu-Ray on Amazon, and that doesn't include the most recent film, Spectre.

Each iTunes download contains the extras you can expect on the Blu-Ray versions of the film, and they're 1080p HD.

These downloads aren't everyone's cup of tea, of course - but I like the convenience and it saves me some shelf space.

Do you need to download them or can you stream them if you have Apple TV?

You can Stream to any Apple device if your online or download for offline viewing.

Just go on itv ( whatever channel ) . They have one on every week

You could say that about any movie. And Spectre on ITV?

Plus they have tons of extras.

I'd gladly pay the money to not include Spectre

Also includes Question Of Sport.

If you don't care about extras or don't have iTunes, you can pick up a set of Ultraviolet versions of all the movies (playable in Flixster and Talk Talk TV over a range of devices) for around £25 on ebay or get the blu-ray box set with the ultraviolet versions in from HMV or Amazon when it's on offer to have the best of both worlds.

I'd rather pay £3 more and own them permanently, not on a digital platform that can remove them from their catelogue anytime they wish

Whilst I understand your concerns I think worrying about Apple removing content is highly unlikely. Some of the smaller / less known digital content providers I can understand.
