The Karate Kid
Ralph Macchio stars as Daniel Larusso, alongside Oscar Nominee Pat Morita (Best Supporting Actor, 1984) as Mr Miyagi. Miyagi agrees to teach bullied student Daniel karate and shows him that there is more to the martial art than fighting.

The Karate Kid II
Karate student Daniel accompanies his Mentor Mr. Miyagi to his ancestral home in Okinawa. But Miyagi's return re-ignites a bitter family feud - a feud where Daniel will face his greatest challenge ever when teacher becomes student, and the price of honour is life itself.

The Karate Kid III
After his karate school was defeated, Mr Miyagi's old nemesis Kresse visits a friend from Vietnam. A ruthless businessman and a martial arts expert, he vows to help Kresse take revenge on Daniel and Mr Miyagi.

The Next Karate Kid
Two-time Academy Award winner (Best Actress, Boys Don't Cry, 1999; Best Actress, Million Dollar Baby, 2004) Hilary Swank shines in her first starring role as The Next Karate Kid. When her parents are killed in a car accident, Julie (Swank) falls under the wise and patient guidance of Mr. Miyagi, who teaches her to dispel her anger through the healing powers of the martial arts.

wax on... whacks off

I'd love to class this as a hot deal.. however The Next Karate Kid... dammit that was ****

The I - III boxset is part of a two for £10 promotion instore at Asda. They have some other multipack titles in the offer, bit the only one I can remember is the 28 Days / 28 weeks later twin pack.

Good deal IMO. You get the special edition of KK1, and it's fun to hear the actors talk about what it was like.

The other films get sillier with each iteration, but on the whole this seems worth it.
