Well cheaper than anywhere else. Cracking new Killers album.
The Killers' third collection of new material, 'Day And Age', is said by frontman Brandon Flowers to be 'a continuation' of the concept used for their second album, 'Sam's Town'. Produced by Stuart Price - who the band came across after he created the 'Thin White Duke' remix of 'Mr Brightside' - this is their first original release in two years. The distinctive Paul Normansell-designed artwork that houses 'Day And Age' has received praise from many critics including MTV, while the album itself includes the single 'Human'.

but when you can download, cds are gradually becoming redundant so i would much rather pay £4 less but its all down to personal preference

I think everyone knows that. Very very unusual to pay more for a download than the CD. But I like to own my CD, play it in the car, on the CD Player; rip it, (at whatever quality I choose)store it on my laptop and I don't have to worry about losing it. I buy CD's of music that I want to keep and I download music that I can throw away if I choose to.

personal preference. i would prefer to download. btw you might like to note that its quidco not quico

As has been discussed many times on here, this album is not comparable to the bands previous work.
Do not buy it thinking it might be a good listen.

What? So it's different to previous albums, surely that's a good thing

If I wanted to listen to same as, same as bands all the time there's plenty of them around

And I agree with the OP, actually physically owning a CD is far better than having a download anyday IMO

Can't wait to see them live in 2009 (x2!!)

my personal preference is to still buy CDs, as it can then be ripped in a lossless format, rather than the compressed formats you buy when downloaded.

Owning a CD is far better.
I didn't mean this album is just different, I meant their previous albums were good and this one is total garbage.

Just a slight warning for anyone not familiar with BangCD. Whilst they are a reputable and reliable company and I have ordered from them several times in the past. Their CDs etc. have usually been sourced and shipped from overseas. Particularly Asia.
Therefore it may not contain the same tracks as the UK version. In this case I believe the final track "A Crippling Blow" was a UK bonus track and thus it might not be on the CD. It's certainly not listed on the BangCD website as being amongst the tracks. I could have got it cheaper (for gifts) at BangCD than anywhere else before Christmas but avoided it for this reason.
Of course it's still a good price and some people may not mind the possible lack of a track. Especially if it ia available to download for less than £1 elsewhere. However completists may be a tad disappointed so just thought I'd point it out.

I totally agree with you here termite. I was a big fan of the Killers, but having heard this album a few times, I wouldn't even buy it if it were on sale in Poundland:)

Voted hot due to the price but in my opinion it all went wrong after Hot Fuss, that was a quality album, after that they sound like a cross betwwen meatloaf and a christian god bothering band:)

Also cd quality is excellent compared to downloads
