Although personally I am an atheist I thought I’d share, I have read parts but it has always been on my “to read” list.

Some churches do give away free bibles but some of you would rather have a kindle edition then this may be a good choice too

Please no nasty comments, if religion isn’t your thing then please just move on and respect those who find what they need in faith.

Did anyone notice "Please no nasty comments, if religion isn’t your thing then please just move on and respect those who find what they need in faith.". I think that is a perfectly fair comment.
For anyone wanting to read the Bible, have a quick look at a couple of versions, even the New King James, rather than the original KJV, and see if you can read the language and grammar easily. I assume this version uses old English, thee, thy and thou, and I find that prohibitive. In my experience, very few people who regularly read the Bible would use this version because of the old language.
You could even try a modern day interpretation (rather than version) called The Message, which is mostly just the New Testament.

Not even the best egregious story . Journey to the West , Bhagvad Geeta and Norse saga's (mostly all free as well ) better bet .
It's a bit far fetched
I'm not sure why you'd pay anything for an electronic copy of something that's not copyrighted. There are dozens of free sources for it.
Think I'll hold out for a 'signed by the author' physical copy..
didnt think hukd did religan or politics
Unless it's autographed by the author, I don't want it. . .
Nothing worth reading here.

The usual off-the-shelf comments I mean

Dont you need to queue up somewhere? buy the book and present your copy to him to be signed and then you will know for sure... someone else didnt sign it and charged you their own made up story?
Don't let anyone give you spoilers! Someone ruined it by telling me what happened at Easter

That's a really good point actually. If you struggle with Shakespeare then this isn't going to be any easier. Don't think most churches use this any more, at least they haven't at the couple of services I've attended in the last few years, and they were at some standard C of E village church type places. It might be interesting to read a modern language version and compare to this version, having said that I'm sure you can find a King James version for free.

My issue is the misleading title as it wasn't actually written by King James, fake news.
As an atheist, I say take your wisdom from wherever you can find it. Christ was a revolutionary after all. He didn't bitch and moan on the internet, he preached love and changed the world. If others mess with his message, don't put it on him.

Amen. Lol
