What an interesting idea for a box set - unfortunately though it's missing the Jessica Lange version from the 80s.

Voted hot though as a great price for some entertaining films.

About 1976 I think

A box set with the 2005 version as well would have been definitive, but the original is light years better than every other version

I have a boxset that includes Son of Kong and the original Mighty Joe Young, that, to me is the definitive set, all others are pale imitations - If it's not Willis O'Brien it's not as good imo Found the Jackson remake to be a bit long and boring tbh.

Bizarre that they miss out Son Of Kong but include unofficial sequels instead...

Would have gone for it if Son Of Kong was included.

Good deal though.

I believe the Region 1 "King Kong Collection" is the one to go for both in terms of content and image quality. This has the original plus Son of Kong and Mighty Joe Young
