Thought this was good value for anyone wanting a little break in Cornwall. At under £30 pp you are getting accomodation, cream tea, and full English breakfast. Scores highly on Tradvisor (4/5) and Google Reviews (4.3/5).

The Land's End Hotel is at Cornwall's most westerly point, set on a clifftop with sea views and less than 15 minutes' drive from one of the county's "most beautiful" (The Daily Telegraph) beaches. An overnight stay there is now £59, saving up to 53% on the usual price.
What's Included
  • Overnight accommodation in a Standard Double room, with full English breakfast, for two
  • Cornish cream tea (worth £7.95 per person; once per stay)
  • It's £69 to stay in a Deluxe Double room, £79 to stay in a Deluxe Sea View room, and £89 to stay in a Superior Double room
  • Stays from 14 April-30 June are an extra £10
  • You can book extra nights, with breakfast, for the same prices
Set in a Victorian building on thegranite cliffs of Land's End, The Land's End Hotel has "stunning" (The AA) panoramic viewsof Longships Lighthouse and the Celtic Sea.
The hotel is on the Penwith Heritage Coast, with Sennen Cove and Sennen Beach both less than 45 minutes' walk away along the South West Coast Path, which runs in front of the hotel. Enys Dodnan Arch -- a rock formation similar to Durdle Door -- is less than 30 minutes' walk away.
The pretty village of Porthcurno, home to "arguably the county's most beautiful bay" (The Daily Telegraph), with its pristine white-sand beaches and rugged cliffs, is less than 15 minutes' drive away.
The Land's End Hotel has an "impressive" (The AA) restaurant with "amazing" views out to sea, and you can visit for a coffee, a drink, dinner or a Cornish cream tea. Alternatively, you can relax with a book on a sofa in the lounge.
The AA says rooms are "pleasantly decorated" and some have "stunning" sea views. Some Standard Double rooms have refurbished bathrooms with walk-in rain showers. Wi-Fi is free.

We are currently staying here. Posh hotel in an amazing location. Literally looking down on the famous Lands End sign from our bedroom window. Absolute bargain as they charge £15pp for the breakfast alone. Nice evening meals though a bit windy outside lol. Its a long drive so make it a 3/4 day stay and tick off all the local attractions in one go.

Is it easy to get to by public transport do you know :/

Public transport? In Cornwall? Doesn't exist, buddy 🙃

Great county to visit, where everywhere seems so close but takes an absolute age to get to.Chelseachris84 has sold it better than the Poster of the deal, sorry Andy.Would need a stop over so i could relax and enjoy it when i arrived.Hot vote for me on this one.
I stayed here last December, and agree this is great value. Really good accommodation and so great to have Lands End to yourself once the tourists leave late afternoon; dramatic scenery a stroll away. You can fly from Lands End airport to the Scilly Isles which is quite an adventure, but lots to see in Cornwall of course.

Are they still charging -not been since 2004 - to have your picture taken with the Lands End sign?

Mainline train services run all the way to Penzance, (GWR trains usually), then it’s only 15-20mins in a cab to Lands End. I’d advise booking a cab in advance to be sure you get one (Penzance isnt the busiest town) but pretty straight forward.
I stayed here in September on this deal and the cream tea scone was huge but dry and tasteless. The breakfast was bathing in grease and poor quality ingredients, as seen in transport cafes and burger vans really. Oh and the fire alarm went off constantly through the night.

I would not go back. If it wasn’t for the views this place would get 1 maybe 2 stars as a hotel.

I live in Cornwall so see the views all the time and thought this would be a great stay. The hotel need pulling down and rebuilding.

Lovely part of the world
Every August, when I'm there on holiday I always have a pint of cider sitting on the terrace, and watch the world go by.

You don't need to get a cab there are regular buses from Penzance bus station (right beside the train station) to Lands End.
Does the superior double still get a sea view? Cannot see any details on the website
280 miles 5h10m drive one way... massive pass... good price though.

Walking distance
Great deal... But to far from London
We stayed here 2 years ago. Great place to visit & incredible location.
The hotel was pretty grim, maybe 1-2* max, the bedroom had one of those pump toilets, kind of put in as an afterthought I guess.
I wouldn't stay here again, but it's maybe worth suffering just for the location. (Just tone down your expectations of the hotel).
Lol some people say the hotel is posh other's are bit grim! Which one is it?
Tempted as get free rail travel 8 hour journey though

What an odd comment, is one not allowed to provide poor reviews of a place based on one's experience?

I actually live at the other end of Cornwall and have stayed in many places around it. I personally feel that if you come down and stay at this hotel, enjoy it for the views and the bucket list experience it is, but if you are expecting London standards or 4/5 star experience then the amount of poorly treated linoleum around the property and the dated and poor quality bathrooms and fittings will disappoint. I feel this hotel gives Lands End and Cornwall a bad image.

If you are not bothered about the Lands End experience, then there are a lot of small hotels and B&Bs that will provide a much more quality experience of Cornwall for you within easy reach of Lands End.
