I know this was posted earlier at £25 from sainsburys but the deal has now expired. Not sure if it was a mistake price or not but you had to add delivery etc on top even if you wanted to click and collect! This is the best price now available and still a steal

Feels like the general audience has been very harsh and unfair with TLG, it's not supposed to be a "next-gen graphics" game. It's a PS3 game at heart that has took very long to be developed and should be appreciated for being its own game, well, along the lines of ICO, SotC and such.

£30.00 is a great price for this little gem.

It is an incredible experience. Nothing quite like it. Doubt there will ever be anything else like it either.

Do we think the price will go down more in the future or will become fairly rare and not ?

If you're releasing a full priced game in 2016 then it should be visually up to 2016 standard. People are within their rights to criticise and vote with their wallets otherwise.

While visuals are great now, that really shouldn't be a critique... Unless we were promised it e.g. Watch Dogs, Might No. 9. The standard should be Gameplay>Graphics.

The new Nier demo is amazing, visually as well but some parts look plastic but dam its the smoothest game I've played.

What this game should be criticised for is wonky camera controls and responsiveness if anything.

Oh no, not another tempting offer! I've bought so many games in the past month on sales etc I can't justify another purchase but, it's so tempting!

worth a tenner, this is like a semi decent indie game. ambitious but ultimately very very flawed

It'll be £15 by Easter on Base - then I shall bite.

Me too - Titanfall, Skyrim, Steep, Infinite arfare, Carmageddon, Darksiders. I really, really need to play more and buy less.

Visually it's very good, Trico is gorgeous and the environments are fab. The game suffers from a little slow down at times but graphically it's anything but bad.

This was a sleeper hit for me, didn't register on my radar until launch (only bought it because it released the day after my birthday) but it's easily been my favourite game of the year. Its not without faults, the gameplay is slow and methodical and at times I wanted to murder the boy character for controlling like a drunken baby, but it's still a magnificent experience that anyone with an attention span that exceeds double digital should try. Personally, i think it's he best game released this year!

Criticism has been more about the gameplay and controls being stuck two generations behind, rather than the visuals. Gamings moved on...remember how you loved golden eye? try playing it now. This was always going to be an acquired taste. General audience is never going to be 'fair'. Expect this to go lower soon enough.

That's still unacceptable, especially considering the extent to which the Japanese make fun of Western-developed games due to a perceived low quality of QA.

So I assume you feel the same way about Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XV, Skyrim, Battlefield and any of the huge range of current gen games that have launched without flawless presentation? I started playing The Witcher 3 last month (a year after it came out) and it still has times where the game slows down, yet that's touted as being one of the best games ever by many. TLG has received lots of unfair criticism because a lot of people suckered themselves in with hype and waited 10 years for a game that clearly wasn't ever going to be for them. I've played SOTC (but not Ico), and I'm telling you now, TLG has all the same pros and all the same cons.

The Witcher 3 on consoles is garbage. It never should have received a console release tbh since the current consoles couldn't really do it justice.

controls make a game, art & graphics enhance it.

the controls in this game are inexcusable.

the graphics, whilst stunning, suffer shocking slowdown.

10 years in development, and we get a sub par product, not good enough!!!!

The length of development should not dictate quality, just like age doesn't dictate intelligence. The controls, whilst not perfect are spcertsinly not gamebreaking...un,was you are a ham fisted call of dooty Churning ape that is.

After uncharted 4 best game on ps4

The sainsbury deal was a mistake, Someone left it on the GTA V shelf and thought it was £25.

I have been waiting for this since like 2009, and I really don't think it disappoints. Camera is a bit wonky every now and then, but you get that in every game.

If you liked games like Uncharted or Tomb Raider, it's well worth a play through, easily one of my favourite games of the year.

Showing as out of stock now.

judlst to be clear my favourite games of all time are - Ocarina of time, Half Life 2, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Resident Evil 4, chrono trigger, final fantasy 6,7,9 & 10, portal 2, BioShock, Goldeneye, red dead redemption, fallout 1-3, metal gear solid, last of us, Diablo iii, Total war Rome, company of heroes, StarCraft, baldies gate, Halo CE, Civilisation, xcom, shadow of collosus, unchartered 2, baldurs gate, link to the past, advance wars, ICO, system shock 2, Warcraft iii, suikoden, persona franchise, metro prime (GameCube), dark souls, mass effect 2, castlevania symphony of the night, dishonoured

I am not a call of duty moron, I hate the game.

I have been gaming for 20 years, and last Guardian doesn't rank anywhere near the above games, it is flawed, the controls are a mess....SOTC is in a different class to Guardian. also 10 years have passed since its release, gamers demand more, games have evolved immeasurably.... guardian is a ps2 era game and not good enough.

it is a good game, a 7/10 nothing more, it'll be in bargain buckets by Jan.....

Bicester had it in store at £30 this morning. I would show the receipt but it just says PS4 31291

How is this in the Today's Hot Deals section? When the ShopTo deal is cheaper/hotter.

Not having a go at the OP, just at the weird way this site works sometimes.

The ShopTo thread did get hotter, but it got (incorrectly) marked as expired due to the Launch Edition going out of stock - that excludes it from appearing now.

Indeed it did. But if there are others like me that were looking for the best deal, then the shopto deal was the best price at the time I saw it. Tesco is still a good price, and there are people that will be able to use vouchers to get it even cheaper.

Not knocking your deal, but surely the more options available to people, then all the better. Loads of places have loyalty points/vouchers/cashback, so there is a deal that will suit different people for different reasons. If I hadn't used my clubcard vouchers a while back, this would have worked out costing me about £2
