Link has washed ashore on a mysterious island with strange and colorful inhabitants. To escape the island, Link must collect magical instruments across the land and awaken the Wind Fish. Explore a reimagined Koholint Island that’s been faithfully rebuilt in a brand-new art style that will entice fans and newcomers alike. Battle enemies as you conquer numerous dungeons and uncover the hidden secrets of the island. Encounter Super Mario enemies like Goombas, Piranha Plants, and more, and interact with unique locals who help Link on his adventure.

As you clear dungeons throughout the main story, earn dungeon rooms (Chambers), then arrange them into custom layouts in the all-new Chamber Dungeon. Place your dungeon entrance, Nightmare room, and everything in between as you try to fulfil objectives and play through a new dungeon.

Tap compatible amiibo figures to earn more Chambers and additional Chambers throughout the game in updated mini-games, such as the river rapids, trendy game, and fishing. Features:

  • As Link, explore a reimagined Koholint Island and collect instruments to awaken the Wind Fish to find a way home
  • Explore numerous dungeons, riddled with tricks, traps, and enemies, including some from the Super Mario series
  • Meet and interact with unique locals to get help on your adventure
  • Listen to a reawakened soundtrack that helps bring life to Koholint Island
  • Complete dungeons throughout the story to earn their rooms for the Chamber

Love this game, even dragged out the old GameBoy to practice before it got released
Ooooh.....gonna get smokey hot!
Code doesn't work for me
did not work with my usual account but did it as a guest and could make it.
Thanks! Waiting for my game now
Couldn't recommend this game enough. Heat added.
I keep debating wether to buy this then remembering I own the original and the colour dx version since release and have never completed either.
This would be literally perfect if it wasn't for the inconsistent framerate.

It's such a shame they never fixed it, dropping from 60 - 30fps every time a new screen loads is horrible. The problem is the average Nintendo gamer has very low standards when it comes to performance so there's not much incentive for them to fix it.

I don't think that's true, Nintendo has very good framerate in most of their games historically, when most others were targeting 30, Nintendo was very often targeting 60.

It most certainly is true.

You completely missed the point buddy. This game is 60fps and inconsistent with plenty of drops, but it is not first party Nintendo. It is outsourced.

I never said anything about it being first party? I said it has frame rate issues and you said it doesn't so I posted proof showing that it does. I'm not sure why you're talking about other games now, when this topic is clearly about Link's Awakening only.

I didn't really have an issue with Link's Awakening in particular, my problem was with your statement that Nintendo gamers are used to bad performance. Nintendo focuses more on performance than most competitors that target 30fps pretty much exclusively.
in dungeons the FPS is fine, which is really where it matters. the over world does have obvious FPS jumps but it's not enough to ruin the experience. it would be better without them obviously and it seems like it could be fixed, but it doesn't qualitatively reduce my enjoyment of the game.
