Although it's preowned but first time I can see this game under £40. Yes you can buy from eBay for £40 but it would be less genuine than Game.

Where else this game is under £40 apart from eBay ???
Would be thankful if anyone can point me out. I can understand this is deal website but good games always comes at a price unless you decide to play it after few years...

I added heat, however the cold will come from your description of the deal. Zelda BOTW speaks for itself and this is a great price for a must own game if you have a Nintendo Switch.

Yeah people tend to really hate preowned stuff on this site so don't let the cold votes get you down too much. I personally think its a pretty good deal.

You're brave, £40, Switch, pre owned and from Game. I think that's as close to a HUKD perfect storm as you can get!

Heat, as you say, where else is it less

I think the less genuine than Game was the nail in the coffin there.

Heat added, nihir.

Thanks Buzz, should've never post a deal under influence of beers....:p

Sorry but cold. £40 is what a game would normally cost new but the 'Switch tax' and this being such big game lets retailers charge over the odds. I pre-ordered the Wii U version months before release at the same price (£39.99) no problem with Amazon and thanks to the various promotions they had on at the time plus a slightly delayed delivery I got it under £20 in the end.

Also I take issue with you (OP) asserting that the game is somehow less genuine if it is bought on eBay, utter nonsense, the game is just the same wherever you buy it and thanks to the eBay money back guarantee and paypal buyer protection it is probably even safer than regular stores as you have two options (ebay & paypal resolution) in the event of any problems...

Lol, sure let's fund this vile company the price of £40 for a pre-owned product. Meanwhile the content creator won't get a penny for a remarkable achievement

Not sure what Game have done to be classed as vile, I've only ever had good customer service from them and the only complaint I have with them are their high prices.

As for the 'used sales mean no revenue for the developer' comment, you might want to look up how little revenue stores get for selling a new game and why. Without the used market bricks and mortar stores would have been out of business years ago.

I've seen this for £50 in cex! but Ive noticed a lot of pre owned in house games like zelda, Mario, yoshi etc are sold at ridiculous prices at Game and Cex just because they are Nintendo games. I'm after smash Bros on the wii u and it's still retailing around 35 quid pre owned.

Yes, it's ridiculous, the problem is people must be buying them or they wouldn't be that price! People need to start voting with their wallets, if it's too dear don't buy it. While there may not be that much choice on Switch yet virtually every other console has a rich library of excellent and sensibly priced games...

Try Grainger, I think Smash is £25 used there.

It's the only game worth playing on the console
