Seemed like a decent price for a good film. This is for a HD rental not to own.

Hope this helps someone

Disney's The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna, where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother-and former heir to the throne-has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon. Disney's The Lion King utilizes pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way.

Prefer the old one

Pretty sure everyone does

I thought it was quite good but was rather disappointed by the soundtrack. Then again it was never going to be as good as the original.

Heat added. I saw this on the app and it doesn't say it's reduced on the app so I didn't post it, but I see it does say reduced on the website. This is a great movie

It says it's reduced on the app now - it was yesterday when it didn't (even though it was still £1.49). Super deal nonetheless, I own this on CHILI but if I didn't I would probably rent it using this deal

Sad........ Good to know I am not alone though !!!
There is no point in this movie existing. Vastly inferior to the original in every way and the "live" animation just takes away from the enjoyment of it.
Prefer the old one, but it is worth a watch. Its like they made this for the sensitive lot. simbas voice is to squeaky and it shows especially when he comes back for scarr and says "get away from my mother" like a 5 year old plus it was said to early it took away the suspense and i believe simba doesnt say it at all or for a while at least. They tried hard to make it realistic, they tried to hard. some songs was sang not as good as the original. Pumba had a lot of his character missing, so did the dumb hyena. They could have easily made this more funnier. but its watchable.

Watch the original and save yourself £1.49, it was so bad haha. I've never heard such a wooden performance in an animated film as Beyonce
This is a beautiful movie!
Great price, utterly pointless film
No way!! I thought this film was fantastic!!!!!!!

Not sure. If you have YouTube on that, though, you can access Google Play Movies and TV purchases and rentals on YouTube so in a way yes you can, if YouTube is available on firestick (I have no idea if it is)
Wish I knew I rented at 3.5 last week
Thank you for posting. We have added this thread to the Highlights section
Must own film but when watching it in the cinema I honestly felt like it was a waste of money because I knew everything that was going to happen, kids enjoyed it though lol

Of course, but I wouldn't/shouldn't pay for twice
