Enjoy the wonderful dystopian adventure across the critically aclaimed 5 book series of The Long Earth.

1916: the Western Front. Private Percy Blakeney wakes up. He is lying on fresh spring grass. He can hear birdsong, and the wind in the leaves in the trees. Where has the mud, blood and blasted landscape of No Man's Land gone?

2015: Madison, Wisconsin. Cop Monica Jansson is exploring the burned-out home of a reclusive (some said mad, others dangerous) scientist when she finds a curious gadget - a box containing some wiring, a three-way switch and a...potato. It is the prototype of an invention that will change the way Mankind views his world for ever.

And that is an understatement if ever there was one...

The Long Cosmos
The Long Utopia
The Long Mars
The Long War

Never heard of this, been years since I read any Pratchett and could do with a new series having reread Feist's Riftwar Universe.
Such a great series. Loved it. Hot!!
Loved the first couple but a hard slog towards the end...
I didnt know there was a part 4 and 5, when I read this series it was a trilogy
Read the first one but never got round to getting the whole series, thanks for reminding me!! Heat from me!
Heat from me..cheer
Hate to say it, as a pratchett fan, but not worth the read. Quite disjointed and a long slog with no feeling of reward
I enjoyed the series but have to agree that the quality drops a little on the later books, however given the circumstances when they were written I can excuse that.
Excellent series, well worth £9 for all 5
