Enjoy the wonderful dystopian adventure across the critically aclaimed 5 book series of The Long Earth.

1916: the Western Front. Private Percy Blakeney wakes up. He is lying on fresh spring grass. He can hear birdsong, and the wind in the leaves in the trees. Where has the mud, blood and blasted landscape of No Man's Land gone?

2015: Madison, Wisconsin. Cop Monica Jansson is exploring the burned-out home of a reclusive (some said mad, others dangerous) scientist when she finds a curious gadget - a box containing some wiring, a three-way switch and a...potato. It is the prototype of an invention that will change the way Mankind views his world for ever.

And that is an understatement if ever there was one...

Loved the first three. Yet to read the final two.
Finished all the books in this series and i found them really enjoyable- the last one was particularly poignant.

I’m not a huge Terry Pratchett fan but if you like Stephen Baxters’s books you should enjoy these.
Got the first for cheap off of HUKD, now I have the rest.
I've been reading Robert J huchinsons space team books. I think he has taken Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams and then raised them some. Now that Amazon unlimited are doing 30 days free, there is no excuses... Give him a go, you won't regret it.
