Is this better than Rings of Power ? (edited)

Rings of Power is really good so far it is also not a movie but TV series. There will be t seasons. Combination of practical effects and CGI is sublime. Music is amazing. First two episodes were great. Elf lady was great. Amazing show so far.

Am I the only who prefers the shorter versions?! Thought the extra scenes offer nothing worthwhile at all to the story

Yep. Becomes boring the extended editions like nothing really happens in them to care that much!

Having seen a few reviews there is mention that the 4k set suffers from heavy dnr. Can anyone confirm if this is true and does it lose much detail as a result.

Do you know why hot deals float and cold deals can not?

Because the cold deal sees only downvotes... the darkness of the internet is vast and irresistible. The hot deal feels the darkness as well, striving moment by moment to master her, pull her under, but the hot deal has a secret... for unlike the cold deal, her votes are not downward but up, fixed upon the post that guides her, whispering of cheaper prices than the darkness ever knew. I have heard that they got rid of green tint which was present in blue ray release. They did lots of work to convert to ultra hd formar and peter jackson and team scanned original negatives and improved lots of imperfections. I decided to pull the trigger. New TV show is amazing too !!!
