Lowest I've seen this set. Includes the (controversial) remastered version of The Good The Bad and The Ugly.

The trilogy of Leone's startling, lurid and supremely kitsch spaghetti westerns, all complemented by Ennio Morricone's evocative and innovative scores. Features A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

'A Fistful of Dollars' (1964) is a remake of the Kurosawa classic 'Yojimbo' and features Clint Eastwood in his first big-screen starring role as the laconic gunslinger with no name who makes a financial killing by playing two feuding families off each other in a small town.

In 'For a Few Dollars More' (1965), the Man With No Name reluctantly joins forces with bounty hunter Colonel Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef) to battle psychotic bandit El Indio (Gian Maria Volonte) and his gang of outlaws.

Finally, 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' (1966) forms the final part of the trilogy that brought Eastwood to Hollywood's attention. During the American Civil War, the paths of three loners - Joe (Eastwood), Tuco (Eli Wallach) and Setenza (Lee Van Cleef) - cross as they search for the grave of Bill Carson, home to a hidden fortune. As the war intensifies, the treasure seekers become drawn into a battle that dwarfs their own mercenary pursuits.

Great films with a great musical score

Was gonna get this when it came out but gonna wait for my favourite two to be released remastered - For A Few Dollars More and A Fistful of Dollars.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is the only one that's been remastered in this set.

cracking price

Great price for the trilogy.
Although I had read much about the grading in TGTBATU, I didn't find it a problem at all. Still looks and sounds stunning!

I have watched the remastered tgtbatu and was totally blown away by it. Didn't realize it has been criticized.
Possibly my fav movie of all time so maybe a bit of the rose tinted glasses affected my judgement.
Are there plans to release remastered A fistful of dollars?

a remastered fisting would be a treat

Going to see the genius who composed the soundtracks at the O2 in February, Ennio Morricone's music makes these films for me.

If you Google the conversion, the side by side pictures show just how wrong it is - everything has a horrific yellow tinge to it. They have got the sharpness spot on, the audio perfect, but god almighty knows why they have went crazy on the colour settings - so un natural compared to the other one. Still, for the price its a HOT deal.

great!! cheers!!
