I love how people pretend there were no sequels because the story didn't go the way they wanted it to.
Ah yeah good shout, was gonna jump on it to have a look straight away
You can pre download it now
Didn’t realise that. Good shout. Cheers.
It's in the description
Yeah, I saw this too late .
I watched all three again a few years ago and the first one still holds up very well, the second one is good - even though at the time I recall being sorely disappointed... The third one, I went in with an open mind after enjoying the second and boy, it is TERRIBLE (in my opinion anyway), so I really hope this new one is at least as good as the second, I do not think it has any chance of matching the first though.
I will be happy if the new film is good - I will be happy if it's a trainwreck
I didn't think the 3rd was that bad TBH, I liked the last stand battle in Zion. The final Neo & Smith fight was meh though, I preferred the Path of Neo version where you fought a giant Smith :).

I recently watched the first 2 again and have wondered whether I should give the third one a second chance... Thanks for saving me that pain
No, closer to an interactive experience I reckon - no details yet but I reckon it's like that Radiohead thing a couple weeks back
Watched it a couple of years ago again in the cinema (i think its when they released the 4k bluray), you forget how many action scenes the movie had.
No it’s just an experience about the Matrix franchise
I’ve read the spoilers and a bit of it sounds so cheesy, but some action scenes are great one action scene is really amazing apparently and it has meta jokes in the leaks which keanu confirms in a recent interview without spoiling it so we will see
Wow sounds like a line right of Matrix 4!
Path of Neo was awesome although it was a train wreck technically at least on the PS2.
Lol what you on about. I didn't say the story didn't go the way I wanted it, just that I love how people pretend there's sequels
The first Matrix blew me away because it felt like the next big step in filmmaking. As did Jurassic Park a mere 6 years before it.
The challenge now is wowing audiences when (a) computers can pretty much generate any image you want now and (b) viewers have way lower attention spans.
So I'm gona watch it at home, safe, and expecting little. That way no matter what I might be pleasantly surprised
But if it's amazing, your first experience of it is just on the TV. Support the franchises you love and get in the cinema!
Broooo that game on ps2 was sick, I loooved it. Tried to played on pc some years back but it was unplayable
Not really , I see what you did there. If you were being truly honest, you would ensure the title clearly states Xbox AND PS.
Not a full game. It's a tech showcase for Unreal Engine 5.
Dune was the first film in a long time that really impressed me. I'm glad I saw it at the cinema, it wouldn't be anywhere near as enjoyable on a TV.
There's no incentive to put real craftsmanship into mainstream action movies any more if the audience can get anything they want in a computer. The last film I would say reached that level was Fury Road and while not a flop was handily outgrossed by even the worst of the MCU movies.
Dune was technically amazing, I'll give you that - wish the tone was more varied tho, hit pretty much the same note throughout
You could well be me. A glitch in the Matrix. I've found my Duracell brother
My thoughts exactly. Here's hoping you like the new one, because that means I will too
I still remember to this day walking home from the cinema after seeing the third one, trying to wrap my head around what I had just seen... then I saw a large dog turd and thought, thats it! That sums it up!
I have high hopes for this one, but having watched other franchises like Star Wars and Terminator succumb to the ham-fisted "woke" messaging over storytelling, i'll keep my expectations in check
I hope so fingers crossed
It will be even worse
Why would they go straight from The Matrix to Matrix 4 ?
