Absolutely fantastic film, earning itself two Oscar nominations at last year's awards.

Ben Foster is beyond immense as the lead in this, and Harrelson very much deserved his Oscar nomination for it as Best Supporting Actor.

Such a brilliant debut for director Oren Moverman. The movie came out in the States in 2009, and only came out on a very limited run here this summer, so I'm aware that very few people will have heard of it, and fewer still will have seen it.
It only came out last month though, and is an absolute steal for under £6! I think the next cheapest is about the £9 at Zavvi, then £14 at HMV/Amazon.

By far one of the best films of 2009, and definitely one to pick up now that it's finally available in the UK. I thought I'd wait a little while when it came out to drop, and I'm so glad that it has, and so quickly too!
It's in Play's Deals of the Week, so should be around for at least a few days yet.

I'm well aware that this is likely not going to get very hot, but I wanted to put it out there because I'm sure there are at least a few others like me who'll appreciate it! It's a terrific film, and should be watched and have the word spread about it to as many people as possible.

(Side-note: writer/director Moverman's teamed back up with Harrelson and Foster for his most recent film, Rampart, which is getting its Oscar-qualifying run in the States at the moment, and I'm hoping it'll be released in cinemas here next year. If you get a chance, DEFINITELY go watch it! I caught it at the London Film Festival last month and it was absolutely brilliant.)

Seriously, who voted this cold? It came out quite recently so it's a great price, and a really powerful film. Hot from me

I was wondering the same thing! Just under £6 for a month-old film on Blu-Ray seems a bit harsh to vote cold

Totally agree with you, very powerful film
