they are pushing something that is not even any sharper than the HD version and charge 4 times more. HDR is very dubious too

Reviews I read suggested the UHD releases rated highly for picture quality....

Sadly no Atmos audio track but it does have DTS:X

Did you edit the deal to include a cheaper option?

Might be referring to films like Oblivion where the 4K UHD version is softer then the original blu-ray. Some films like life of Pi look amazing and some others you can barely tell the difference.

yes, failure on the corner. There are the good one but the most is not any better than SD

I have watched UHD blurays and from other sources like Netflix and there is definitely a difference from full HD. It is subtle granted, far more so than say from SD to full HD, but is is there, especially in shots that need the extra detail like more distant/zoomed out parts where even HD would struggle.

There are side effects though, I find a few films/programmes that employ film like grain for effect can look almost excessively grainy in UHD, kind of like an old analogue tv with a wonky aerial, which kind of defeats the purpose of uhd to begin with, but those are minority cases....

The deal is hot IMHO, you get the latest UHD/HDR mastering of these at only £10 per film, which is probably less than they would have cost when first out on Bluray. It's hardly fair to compare these to the current price of the Blurays as these films have been on bluray for years where as 4K Bluray is still a very new format....
If you use the Quidco final day of may madness offer, which is £4.50 off a purchase at Zavvi over £8.99 for this you can get it even cheaper, down under £25 provided the cashback and bonus track. Personally, I'm not a fan of Quidco as I find them VERY slow to track but they generally do eventually. Still for this much off I can wait...
