Michael Caine appears as Ebenezer Scrooge in this riotous musical adaptation of the Dickens tale alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy and all the popular Muppet characters.

This is the cheapest I can find this excellent Christmas DVD online.

I couldn't actually tell if there was a difference between the special edition and the anniversary edition or not.

My girlfriend also just told me that (because we're looking for the best price for this DVD) Sainsburys (in Team Valley, Gateshead) have it in for £4.99, though we aren't certain whether this was the normal, anniversary or special edition yet. She works there and has staff discount (currently at 20% because of Christmas). She'll pick it up tomorrow and i'll let you know then which version it is.

You can also get it instore Woolworths at £5. Can't remember if it said it was the anniversary edition or not.

big debate over whether this is the original version (as on VHS) or not. Scenes have been cut from some of the DVD versions. See amazon for details.

Wasn't in Sainsburys after all, it was a different Muppet's Christmas film (It's A Very Merry Muppet's Christmas Movie - which I bought anyway). So I just bought it from dvd.co.uk instead.

why would you pay more for something when you know you could get it cheaper elsewhere:?
