The new Cineworld Unlimited black card

I know this will get voted cold but it is a very good deal IMO and not mentioned on this site previously.

Starting in mid-November this year, any Cineworld Unlimited customers who have had their card for a year or more will be issued a new, classy looking black card that entitles them to 25% off food and drink(10% off Starbucks inside Cineworld branches) and free 3D movies, but you do have to buy the glasses.

It's also worth mentioning that at the end of the year they are finally launching pre-booking for all unlimited customers too.

Here's the URL for their Facebook page where they made the announcement yesterday. facebook.com/cin…rld

I would rather pay £2 and watch a fil at my local cinema, even though it is nicknamed "The Flea Pit"
Pre-booking - finally! Should have always been the case.

Re. 3D worth mentioning Unlimited card holders currently have to pay an extra £1.50 per 3D film.
How I wish there was a CIneworld local to me. The Showcase near me is appalling.

The lack of pre-booking really wound me up, I had to pay to watch The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX on the opening day to guarantee tickets as the lad behind the counter told me I couldn't pre-book the day before release.
About time they gave something back
Great, now you can get popcorn & a drink for under a tenner
Glad its nearly winter.... now I wont look like a bork wearing a massive coat to smuggle all our cheap sweets and drinks in....
had my card for nearly nine years now - my picture is so worn out it just looks like a smudged thumbprint!!

thanks for this

my eyes start killing when i where the glasses for long, i avoid 3d now
this great news no more for paying for 3D films
Dundee Branch started showing some brand new movies ONLY in 3D for the first few days

Shocking when a company forces you to pay extra even though you have an unlimited card

So will this black card be permanent then, we just started 2 months ago so will get a black card late next year

We live the unlimited as we're always going to see films
