For 3 channels it is not worth the outlay, rather keep my old one

Crikey, why is this cold? Challenge anyone to find it cheaper.

Don't confuse this with the Humax Foxsat (Freesat). This is the new Freeview HD recorder with potentially more HD channels than Freesat offers.

Its not so much the price, but the company who is selling it... this company always get cold votes, and rightly soo.

Have order confirmation and delivery date so should be ok. Perhaps their returns policy is bad?

Anyone in the market for this item, it really is a very good deal, which is the whole point of this website.

Clearly I have a lot to learn about the hotukdeal community!

Oh dear another Littlewoods group code...........
Does anyone ever read what happens to Littlewoods group posts.
Like a couple of days ago, when all the orders were cancelled for using codes
See if they have any thermals to buy with the codes, it is going to get very cold in here ;-)

But the code is on their website, not passed on from an individual who received an offer by post.

I bet you anything they will honour this code as it is perfectly legitimate.

Oh well, not spending any more time on this. I saved £50 and was trying to help others......

I have owned a Humax 9300T for some time now and its been fault free and really easy to set up and use. I am not saying the company is without fault but I would argue what company is? Their products stand up well against any out there, although they arent particularly cheap!

It's not Humax who are the problem, it's Very.

I ordered mine through Very and they were very efficient - next day delivery. I've tried a few Freeview HD PVRs and this one is head and shoulders above the rest.

How does it compare to SkyHD GUI?

I got one of these off bay for £140. Great bit of kit.

In our area Lincs/Norfolk Freeview HD is not due for switch on to the end of 2011. I was looking at purchasing a Humax Foxsat (Freesat HD). Question: Is Freesat HD a better picture than Freeview HD, I know the drawback of less channels with the Freesat HD but whats the difference in the quality between the two systems? Any takers....

I doubt it was this one. This is the freeview HD recorder that has only been out for a few weeks. I had the normal Humax HD reciever for the world cup and it was excellent. The GUI was really good and it came with a pretty high quality remote so I could use it for the DVD, TV and the stereo. I only got rid of it because Virgin offered me V+ HD for less than I was paying for phone and BB. I know that Very are crap but for a possible £250 (depending on cash-back) this is cheap and worth a punt. It will also do iplayer and skyplayer from October if it doesn't already (they were talking about a firmware update before I sold mine) so you are getting more stuff than just 3 channels.

The cheapest this has sold for on eBay is £280.

Okay. I paid £140... Alright, I exaggerated, £141.

It was listed as Humax Freeview +HD Digital Television Recorder.
