I dunno seems a little shady

Groan
Good deal, also some at Selfridges in the sale if you don’t like this colour
Is it such a high price because of the brand name?

'High' compared to what? What do you think mercedes are more expensive than Vauxhall?

Compared to 90% of the backpack deals posted on here. If you mean why are Mercedes more expensive than Vauxhall then you'd have to choose particular models to compare. I'm not sure it's possible to compare like for like on purpose. I think manufacturers deliberately put in unique selling points to justify any price differences. If the two brands were to badge the same car then the Mercedes would cost more purely because of the name. Is that what you're saying is going on here?

Maybe............but maybe not - I use a rucksack nearly everyday. I usually use cheaper rucksacks but after a year or so they tend to show signs of wear and tear and the waterproofing coating starts flaking from the material.
I've had one of these rucksacks for about 2 years (the classic version and not in blue) and its brilliant and is showing very little signs of wear and tear.

Just a quick look back at previous deals and this seems comparable: cheaper backpack. Four of these or the one North Face. I guess it's a matter of experience. Might there be an argument along the lines of; an expensive bag gets better treatment?
Got one of these. It oozes quality compared to lesser backpacks, but the actual design is not as practical as the threadbare dreck I've had in the past.

Well good luck with those Eurohike bags, you are really comparing a Mercedes with a Vauxhall saying they both take you from A to B but Mercedes being much expensive. People like to investigate on better (which normally means more expensive) things (yes the north face is MUCH BETTER quality than the 10 quid ones) WHEN THEY CAN EASILY AFFORD THEM.
Let me ask you one simple question, when you can easily afford a Mercedes, would you buy a Vauxhall? Don't bother continuing your argument on "point to point" comparison , every single Mercedes is better than any Vauxhall, period!
Just get on with your life buying what you can afford and what you think worth your money no one's stopping you, there are many many many many more stuff you won't ever understand why people are spending their money on. If you think even north face is "high price", how about these backpack? selfridges.com/GB/…cks
Please don't reply back because this is my post so I get notification but I don't want to see them.

There's so many things wrong with your post I can't be bothered to go over them all. You're trying to say North Face is high quality? What makes this bag high quality? There's only 3 pictures on the John Lewis site but all the stitching etc seems fairly standard and aside from a waist strap (which seems unnecessary for a bag this small) it doesn't seem any better than my 30 litre Berghaus which was a deal at £20. I'm not against buying expensive things, as you say "investigate on better", but what makes this better? Is it just the name?

HAHAHA judging quality from pictures, you made me laugh, that's what typical losers like you do.

You were comparing north face to eurohike but now berghaus now?

I'll tell you what, yes IT IS ALL ABOUT THE BRAND NAME! SO WHAT? HAHAHA You happy now?

Just accept it man you are poor so you can only image cheap stuff are the same with expensive stuff.

People get their own money and buy whatever they want, you don't understand why? That's fine, that's not a problem. just don't be proud of poverty and have some ambition!
Silly price for an ugly bag

It's a website... It's not like I can do anything other than judge it by the pictures, which is why I asked...
I can compare it to whatever I want, I picked the Eurohike deal as it was the first one I came to when looking at previous deals. I didn't use my Berghaus as an example initially as I couldn't be bothered to go back and find the deal link.

So it's all about the name? Not really a deal then.
