Are they comfortable for wide feet? Sizing?
Any idea what the fit is like compated to Nike?
I've just ordered them so unable to let you know. I have a wide foot and have gone for my standard shoe size. I will update when they arrive. Bloggers online have given them great reviews.
Free delivery and returns too

If you use these for running you are going to get sweaty feet. Gore tex is breathable but not brilliant.
I wanted these for fully weatherproof walking
Does Sonic approve or will there be a redesign?

I have had the hedgehog boots, which are great for wider feet, currently wearing Salamon, which are narrow and for me not comfy,
Hey, thanks, it made me look at the site and found some north face trainers for £30.

These are not for walking down the street in.!!!! They are for off road walking. Don't compare to a pair of Nike. If you are, you are looking at the wrong thing
I have read a few reviews and a reoccurring theme is that they're not waterproof. They say the quality has deteriorated over the years.
For those asking about sizes I got these last year and am usually between a 9 and a 10 (ie 9.5 but no one does half sizes). I made the mistake of getting them in a 9 but as soon as my feet expand in the heat they rub so I really should have got the 10s.

That aside they are great walking shoes so I muddle on with them!
These used to be good when first released. Pretty poor now. I have had 4 pairs over the years and used to swear by them. Would buy addidas terrex over these any day.

Your feet will still get wet in these. Walking through wet grass soaks the uppers.
