Yes it zips in and becomes part of the jacket and vice versa, you can also separate the outer coat and fleece and wear separately.

only xxl left in red. mykaloen, I can only assume that its a pic of you in your avatar and therefore have no concept of modern technical materials in clothing.

Some people just like to be branded-up to walk the dog and hike the shopping malls
I don't understand the grief people give to the price and brands of jackets on here. I'm not particularly a North Face fan, except for a pair of their eTip gloves which have been great, but I certainly wouldn't knock them. I've seen plenty of North Face wearers climbing up the various mountains of England, Scotland and Wales and if you're into the outdoor lifestyle you're happy to spend a lot of money on clothing as it's critical to your well being. Personally I favour Rab and Berghaus, the former of which can be incredibly expensive, but it's money well spent. Brand doesn't matter but performance does.
i have the most basic north face coat and work outdoors and its the first coat ive owned where not a drop of rain gets through. cant put a price on that.
North Face is never cheap but there is a reason for that, great products.
Don't forget, you are getting 2 coats for £85, one fleece and the other. bargain
Top quality clothing brand. Voted hot.
Cold.

Only one colour and XXL
voted hot great brand good value at this price

as stated earlier if you work outside the fact this wont let anything come through it is almost priceless
got the same coat from these guys last week, came within two days by courier, highly reccomend this company.

Then you wouldn't appreciate quality if it hit you in the face, let me say I am much against paying just for a silly label to show other people, the "label" owners know this so take advantage and chuck cheap material gear which is worse quality then their fake counterparts, its a mugs industry I admit.

BUT with North Face gear you are seriously paying for top quality materials and workmanship, you are certainly not paying the premium for a label, their jackets are super hard wearing and even a cheapskate like me will pay £200+ for one of their down jackets, and I have - Best piece of clothing I ever bought in my life, 3 years on and my down filled 550 still looks like new and has kept me warm, snug and dry in temperatures of -17, serious mountain gear and you know it when you see reporters and expedition people wearing them in ridiculously cold conditions. For now it seems they have not cashed in on their label and make super quality gear (I can only speak for jackets mind).

Like my old Sergeant told me when I was in basic training with the army "there's no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing"

I 100% agree with this. When your equipment fails, the fun ends.
Not a word on the spec as to waterproof level & breathability, therefore I didn't bother looking deeper for other important aspects, if they charge loads for a jacket, they could at least write comprehensively about it so it eases the pain from your wallet whilst they lift your money!

..amateurs, easy to copy & paste details off NF website isn't it? ..(web designer paid too much for a poor job) ..showing folks are unable to read & determine proper suitability without the specs being supplied & more based on "luck" & big brand name to get you through unscathed, ..never mind actual suitability for the environment in which it will be deployed & the wearer reliant upon it to work efficiently therin, not to mention folk ought to buy a waterproofer to dress & top up the protection before it gets "thin" ..save going out & finding it's failed massively!

I have a different NF waterproof jacket featuring HyVent and it works fine. When choosing waterproof clothing no matter the manufacturer or material it is generally necessary to perform some research or trust the brand. This is no different to buying a TV or a car.

But yes, the website sucks! I get most my outdoor equipment from an online stockist which has a reliable personal review of every item they stock. A lot of passion involved with that company, not-so with Outdoorkit!
got my coat, quality stuff thanks OP.

best thing about buying waterproof clothing is waiting for it to rain!
