The North Face Mens Evolution Triclimate Jacket - £104.98 delivered @ Gaynors

Great jacket, search for reviews on-line. Would cost you £175 direct from The North Face, available cheaper than that elsewhere but this is the cheapest I've found it by £20, and also this price is available on all (6) colours and sizes (S-XXL), elsewhere the price seems to depend on availability. Fantastic jacket suitable for any time of year.

Have some heat.I love these jackets. I'm hoping to get the grey/green … Have some heat.I love these jackets. I'm hoping to get the grey/green next month slightly cheaper than this though.

I've been looking at these for a while and this is the cheapest I've ever seen them. You never know in the January sales I suppose, but I'd be surprised if they dropped much below this, if at all.

This is a great price! theoutdoorshop.com had a massive sale on earlier too, was about to post about it but when I went to the url the prices had all rocketed back to the rrp! They should come back down as the front page still advertises their sale + prices. Anyway have some heat

If you have a Snow+Rock close by they are selling the same jacket for £105. They also price match so one can actually get it for £99.99.

I bought one of these last year and its been fantastic. Paid around £100 from surf mountain.

I did however see it cheaper in the January sales and cursed..

I got mine from Gaynors earlier this year for £89.99.
Decent enough jacket...

Good price, just paid £104.99 from Snow & Rock.

Edited the thread title to include £4.99 postage cost.

I've suspected something for a while here, and now I'm totally convinced that I'm right...

My advice to any newbies reading this and thinking of registering, would be to consider the user id you sign up with quite carefully, as in dont let on any affiliations to certain sports teams, because doing this seems to affect how your threads are judged.

For instance, take a look at this thread from only 3 weeks ago...

hotukdeals.com/dea…850

Same jacket, same price, save the £4.99 delivery cost for this one, however that saves you having to find a Go Outdoors outlet near to you, and also the £5 membership fee you'd be charged in order to be eligible to purchase the jacket from the Go Outdoors deal in the first place. I know there are those who'd already be members, however this deal would still save them from travelling. Not to mention that deal only applied to certain colours and sizes, whereas this one I've posted applies to all. Yet that deal reached 328 degrees, whilst I'm stuck on 13.

Then there's this one from 5 weeks ago...

hotukdeals.com/dea…413

Again it only applies to limited colours, and is £20 more expensive than in this deal, yet it reached 135 degrees.

This isn't the first time I've noticed this happening with my deals, for instance I posted a Glayva for £9 deal which reached the giddy heights of 7 degrees, however the exact same deal posted another time reached 241.

I can only think that people judge with their allegiances or affections (or lack of) to certain sports teams, if you happen to have associated yourself with one in your user id, rather than voting on the deal itself.

I suppose that maybe I should have thought of that before registering with this user id, as I said before, if you're new here, browsing and thinking of signing up, then maybe you should too.

I think alot of it is down to peoples trust of certain websites/stores if they've never heard of them they won't give the item any heat even if the price is good just incase the sellers are cowboys. Often on this site you'll see a post for a really good price from a seller with a bit of a bad rep i.e one of the hut group stores, then amazon will price match and get a lot more heat just down to the 100% trust they have built up with the public.
I am very tempted by this deal though but not sure if i should wait till the new year to see if anyone drops to a lower price.

The thing is Gaynors of Ambleside are a reputable company...

Spread the love for Gaynors... just got one of these jackets, tried one on at Go Outdoors where price was £150. Did an on-line search, found this site and this link and bought one. Arrived by fedex within 36 hours. Couldn't be happier. They also have a really sound returns policy if you're not happy with size/fit or colour etc.

This is an awesome jacket at a superb price!

If you're a Go Outdoors discount card owner and the shop isn't too far out of your way, then you could invoke their price match + 10% discount. You'll need to take the URL for Gaynors deal on this jacket into Go Outdoors to prove the price. Should then be a little under £95 and no postage. That would save you £13ish on Gaynor's price.

Great deal, although I just got gooutdoors stockport to price match. For some reason they proved it at 89.99! Awesome result, cheapest I'd seen prior to this was 120 or so. Thanks!

Ps apparently discounted as new version coming out, although only difference is new one loses the under arm vents...

I am a size large, are these true fits or should a buy a size higher ? Thanks

I'd say true fits, in my experience it's only the north face parka's where you actually have to buy a size down in most cases, not up.
