Just picked up a pair of these, and unlike the GTX XCR version , the fitting of the GTX XCR III is true to shoe size (i.e. a size 10 is a size 10).
FWIW, the Coffee Brown/Algae Yellow colour looks fairly good in flesh. Bumpf states they are athletes choice, however the sole doesn't feel fleible enough for XC running, but very good for most types of walking.

Light in weight and streamlined in design, its advanced Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Range membrane leaves the shoe both waterproof and breathable, and ideal in particular for fast light hiking through splashy conditions. The synthetic leather and mesh upper is sturdily resistant to the sort of abrasion encountered along rough trails, while the Northotic™ Pro footbed is complemented by Heal Cradle™ support and extra cushioning pads at the heel and forefoot. A Vibram® rubber outsole adds a sure, sticky grip underfoot to leave a shoe that responds to athletes’ demands time after time. I bought a pair of an earlier version of these in algae green/coffee about 5 years ago and they are still in ok condition, done 000s of miles walking in them and only now is the mesh worn down on the outside. Might buy a new pair at this price, amazing shoe. Feels like a trainer with boot support. 10/10

Hedgehog shoes... I thought at first they may have been spikey which would have been nice for the impending icy walks home from the boozer!
