Generally good reviews. Personally I like mine and have found them to be waterproof and good for amateur hiking. Nice to look at as well IMHO.

Camel price history shows price very close to lowest ever:

It's £85 elsewhere on Google shopping, but with P&P to be added.

On Wiggle who have been doing some good North Face Hedgehog deals recently, the price is £97.99 with a '30% saving' (if I've matched the correct boots):

I want these for £45 tops ADDED HEAT as I live in Cuckoo Land
Being a hill farmer I’ve gone through a lot of boots

loved a pair of north face I bought in an outlet for £50 comfy.
berghaus gtx didn’t last for me.
brasher lasted me 3 years. On 2nd pair now.
But out out of all boots I’ve ever had my favourite were timberland gore tex which might be surprising but the foot support was brilliant.
For summer boots for when I’m on a tractor etc
i really like dewalt apprentice boots.

Partner got a pair of womens hedgehogs for £45 a couple of years ago at John Lewis! You never know
these are good. I think i ordered for around 50 with a 20% fashion code amazon were running at the time.
Heat but quality no where near what they used to be
Same one for £37.50 in North face outlet in McCarther Glen outlets

And Teva quality dipped in recent years. Berghaus boots are my favourite. I've had 3 pairs of Explorer Trek GTX over ten years RRP £130 but always managed half that buying at the right time. I keep one old pair for gardening but always start off in my slippers
reviews are meh.
Never been able to wear anything else once I made the move to Salomon boots, best ever! (IMHO)
Have some fire! Great find. Sure you can wrap yer kippers in some cheaper daps, but they'd be Brad Pitt and your feet would hate you, and would seek revengeance in the form of foot disease.

youre basically paying the extra £30 for the brand name so i agree
Unfortunately as with the rest of this brand, no where near the same quality of older models. I had a previous pair for 5 years, these new ones only lasted 6 months before the front started to separate
All the same a good price, if they last 2 years..
No size 6 or 6.5 ?

Full price at Cheshire oaks
Thanks OP!
I had some of the lower hedgehogs and they were generally OK. Water resistance wasn’t long term. Had better build quality from Decathlon build quality.

Couldn't agree more.

Timberland and The North Face are now under VF Corp, which is a large US company that aquires brands and then does the usual - change customer service to india/developing nations and trades down the quality of materials to increase profitability. Why else pay 2 billion dollars for timberland?

Found out the hard way this month via timberland direct - very quick in taking my money and the delivery wasn't bad. But the customer service if you need to return anything (bear in mind I returned 1/3 pair of boots due to color difference the very next day after receipt) and still had to wait almost a fortnight for a refund to be sent. Contrast this with amazon who have refunded me usually the next day.

The quality of North Face products is nowhere near what it used to be - jackets especially!
Had a look in a local Ski shop and liked them but they didn't have my size but was lucky to find them new in a local auction for £53 including 3 other pairs of shoes :-)
No size 13, as usual

It seems we all agree on this. The question is - who does make quality products these days? Someone mentioned Berghaus, but are there others?

i had DeWalt Apprentice boots, then upgraded to "Titanium" a little pricier, and just a bit heavier, but the increase in confort is huge
my girlfriend bought a similar model in ladies version, and they broke after 3 months of light use, she weights 50 kg
Awful rubbish, fall to pieces in next to no time.Fine if just using to walk around the park.

Try Viking brand boots. A Norwegian company I think. I have a pair of their both boots. Gore tex and very comfortable.
