BENEFITS

WATERPROOF: This fabric provides an impenetrable barrier to rain and snow for guaranteed dryness.
BREATHABLE: Air can easily pass through the fabric in this garment, helping to regulate body temperature.
QUICK DRYING - WICKING: Quick-drying fabric moves moisture to the surface to evaporate.

There's a reason the Quest Jacket is back for another season: because it continues to deliver great value, and reliable rain and wind protection. This shell is made from lightweight, two-layer DryVent™ with taped seams and a water repellent finish. All this means you stay dry, protected from the wind and won't get too hot and sweaty in the process - ideal when hiking in shifting conditions. It features a fitted, adjustable hood and a cinch-cord hem and elasticated cuffs to keep bad weather out. A brushed-knit chin guard means the top of the zip won't become irritating and there are two zipped hand pockets.

Features:

  • Waterproof, breathable, seam sealed two-layer DryVent™
  • Mesh body lining
  • Brushed knit back neck and chin guard lining
  • Exposed centre front zip with water-resistant finish
  • Fixed hood with one-way hood regulation
  • Two hand pockets with zip closure
  • Shock cord regulation adjustment at hood and hem
  • Elasticated cuffs
  • Heat transfer logo
  • Durable water-repellent (DWR) finish

The word "waterproof" when the zip is exposed really shouldn't be used.

There should be a universally agreed system for measuring waterproof. warmth, breathability and wicking (whatever that means)
I know some do it for waterproof and breathability in mm (Rohan, DLX etc) but most claim exceptional performnce when it's barely adequate Regatta, D2B etc

Fact is: nothing is waterproof and breathable to the extent that you can exercise in it without accumulating some level of water/dampness, etc. Tried pretty much everything back in the day, and there is nothing new to change that. This, at best, and if unwashed and new will keep you dry for 10 minutes. Good luck.

This is a great jacket, and has been my daily go-to for the past 2/3 years. For my commute, and on walks ect it still keeps me dry - even after being washed and it being 2/3 years old. Although, I have the insulated version of this which is like a normal quilted jacket. This just looks like a windbreaker, I'd strongly advise you get the insulated version. Great jacket otherwise.

Gor mine in 2016 and it has held up very well. I like to wear a layer under it and it's usable for most times of year.

Extra 10% off on first order if you sign up to their club thing. Off on a very cold holiday in 2 weeks so have just availed myself of a bunch of stuff in the sale, looking forward to none of it fitting
